Love this bike, you can have so much fun without riding at ridiculous speeds. I actually sold my 22 XSR900 and got a R nineT Scrambler for this same reason!

Do bar end running lights/directionals. They look great on that bike and you can streamline the front by getting rid of the huge directionals up front.

I intend on getting the Scrambler 900 and intend it for a Daily driver with the ability to do longer distence driving and rough roads
I've decatted my t120 and given it a performance exhaust and it's the best sounding bike I've ever heard. The Bonnvilles are the best bikes

I bought a left over 2017 SS in 2018 at a great price .. I have added a center stand heated grips for winter riding , tiger off road foot pegs and a home made wooden panier for winter and rain gear ( also able to cary my 5 string banjo in summer weather :) . THis is a great bike for country farm lanes dirt roads and weekend trips .. I have 17k miles on the clock and have no interest in trading up to something new .I have gone through 2.5 sets of tires and 2 chains and a sprocket.(WInter riding and the bike lives under a bag in New England snowy winters ) . In May it will be 6 years and I have never been happier with a bike .(I do wish I still had my 1961 BMW R69S ) :) I too would like a better suspension and maybe another gallong of gas ..Her range is around 160 to 170 miles @56 MPG US . I hope you have as much fun with yours as I have gotten out of mine . YOurs Guy

I´ve had my Scrambler 900 for a nearly year now and being outside 100% of the time leaves its marks really fast. Sprocket, chain and everything on the handlebars gets the worst of it.
In the winter I sometimes had to massage the start button with a heat pack because either condensation or plain old rain made it inside and froze over night.
I was hoping to get a new set of tires before summer but they´re still half way decent. I really don´t feel the Metzeler Tourance. Just good enough on the street and off road only if there is no rain in my opinion.
All that said, I can´t see myself riding another bike any time soon. It´s so much fun and the sound, even with the factory exhaust, is just great.

Great video, what do you think about a 125 motorcycle for everyday use (90KM+-)?I know that MT125 / CB125R can cruise relatively well at 110KM/H
Thanks! I wouldn't recommend a 125cc to cruise at 90+kmh. They are beginner city bikes at most. But who am I to say no, test ride one and decide for yourself. Ride safe!
I have a 125 with the same engine as an Mt 125 and if it's a windy day the bike might struggle past 90 km/h

Does the exhaust get hot while riding and did you have pillions complain about it?
Hey man, I've got a question. I would like to order the same exhaust for my scram900 but I'm a bit worried that it might be too hot for a pillion rider. Any thoughts? Thanks.
British customs make a passenger leg guard for those exhaust pipes. I ordered some and have yet to install them.
Have you experienced any electrical issues ? I have a 2017 ST 900 with less than 10k kilometres in it and it has left me stranded many times on the road due to flat battery
I'm almost at 5k km and the only issue I had was with the coolant temp sensor that was replaced under warranty.
I also switched from Yamaha MT09 to Triumph

Hi Mostreet, may i know what helmet you are using?
It maybe my imagination, but it always seems like a derestricted 900 sounds better than a derestricted 1200. Neither sound as amazing as the original ai-cooled 865 (270 crank) scrambler which to me is the best sounding vertical twin in the world, but the water cooled 900 is closer to the 865 than the 1200 in my opinion. Also aesthetically, it looks way cooler than the over blown 1200s, especially the XE with bits awful gold USD forks! It is a terrible pity Triumph didn't give the 900 longer conventional forks, maybe 180-200 mm of travel, very easily achievable.
Don’t knock the 1200 XE if you haven’t tried it 😉 I agree the 900 sounds better than the 1200. The 900 sounds like a V-twin at lower RPMs, which I wish my 1200 sounded like.
@@adrianpolinski9600 I have tried it, on more than one occasion, excellent bike, just wish they had kept it a bit lower profile with normal clocks and black USP forks.
Xc as my first bike and it is incredible. Asking for longer suspension on the 900 is fine, but then it's that much taller, which is a problem many have

how is the heat on the right leg?
It’s quite warm.
In the winter it´s nice, in summer sitting in traffic it feels like pissing yourself but from the knees upwards. As soon as the radiator kicks in it blows everything towards your crotch. But... it´s small price to pay for a great bike.
