Putting my weight on my "heeling" foot, is legit the most helpful thing for my spins! Thanks for all these tutorials Estro :))
Thank you for this! I love these bite-sized tutorials. I don’t always have time to watch the 45 minute ones, so these are fantastic for quick practice and reviewing skills!
Been trying to figure this out since I started skating a few weeks ago 😅 I can only do like one at a time. Anyone else have that problem? It’s a real struggle
Sometimes certain moves on skates are hard not because of anything you’re doing but because there’s still a little bit of fear in your body and it gives you uncertainty and makes you stop without realizing like your body naturally just slows down and stops it. If you started skating a couple weeks ago then you’re a newer skater so your body isn’t used to the whole situation of being on wheels. What helped me was to slow everything down even more, do things one at a time, and lightly hold on to something just to build muscle memory for the movement. I’m one who’s scared of falling and getting hurt so it takes more time for me to learn something new. If you feel that you are comfortable and you’re a fearless person (first of all props to you) then there’s probably just a key move you’re missing or could be something with your skates as in u might need new wheels that have less traction and help you move smoother. I hope this helped (sorry this was so long)
Yes I skate like 7 months right now but I still can not spin I try to do it every day but I can’t my record was 4 I think but more spins is to hard 🥺😂
estro’s videos are fantastic! i really appreciate the arrows edited in. i think including a slow mo shot and more skate close ups would be helpful. thanks!
If you click the three white dots in the top right hand corner and click playback speed, you can change the speed of the video and slow it down.
I just started learning spins (still on the pumping part)... this was AWESOME!
been watching this religiously and did my first spin yesterday :) !!!!!
I love the colour of your Moxi’s! Stunning💛
Hello, I'm not sure if theres a video on transitions from front to back and vice versa but it would be cool there is one. Thank you😊😊
@@briannaskaggs8725 Yooooooo! I just saw your comment and went to look for that video and it is bomb. She broke the transition down to the bone. Thanks!
You are the best trainer! Thank you so much for sharing!
I like how technical this is.
This video was perfect so helpful! Thank you 💕
Thank you
It was that only detail missing in my spinning practice
Loved this!
Me and Dee Upshaw were bragging about your sit spins the other day! You're so good at everything girl!
soo cute and well explained thank you! excited to learn to do it
How do you spin so smoothly? I feel like my skates don't wanna turn
It’s because you’re not used to it yet. It definitely takes a lot of practice to get there. One step at a time, and you’ll get there!
@@es1489 can you elaborate, because I'm having the same problem, and my wheels are more edged than hers
It’s all about foot technique. They’re mini skateboards on your feet. So you have to lift either the front or back weeks so it can spin like a wheelchair
You can also adjust your action and use hard wheels. The surface your spinning on helps a lot too. I find it harder to spin on the pavement.
Thank you so much for opening up to the camera, Jen 💕 I realize how awkward it is to talk to a camera but you're doing an amazing job! Love all your tutorials! Thank youuuuu 😍🤩🤩
I love her analogies
THANK THANK THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THESE!!!
Was up till 2 am trynna get some spins going so perfect time for this video ♡︎
u make it look so easy
I haven't skated in years and today I suddenly wanted to spin so here I am
Thank you 😊
She did that good.
It's going to take me a little more practice for the squat spinner ones, though !
THIS GOT ME TO SPIN TODAY!!!
Nice conservation of angular momentum...
you really need to bring back the fuchsia colored skates❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks
I’m terrified to take my Moxi toe pedals off, the spins are so graceful with toe stops on I’m going to try if you can do it so can I 🙌🏼
Hey Estro Jen, this is awesome. Thank you!! I’m transitioning from figure skating ⛸ (ice) to roller and have been trying to find the right wheels for this and other tricks (outdoor)... what are you wearing here?
She’s the founder of Moxie- so I assume she’s wearing Moxie’s but if you are looking for a cheaper option there are Rios which I use and are really good too 💛💛
No Brasil Gosto muito dos seus vídeos
Do you have to use the straight wheels or the wheels that are seperated or you can use both?
What skates are these?? 😍😍
How did u get the ramp in u r garden and how much was it?
Hi, can you please do a tutorial of how to do a one foot toe spin, please🙈
hi um how do you undo 14 years of dance training to spot? i’m struggling a bit with not spotting
you could try looking up? Some combinations I have in non ballet classes do that instead of spotting. You won't be as dizzy and you're head won't whip around. This is in theory tho, I haven't had my skates arrive in the mail yet lol. Hope this helps! :D
I don’t do ballet but what I do is try to find a spot and whenever I spin I go back to look at it each spin, hope this helped
@@centipedism yeah they knowhow to do that, thats the problem. they are so used to spotting their head and cant undo it
do you think the reason i can’t figure this out is bc i’m skating outside on blacktop with skates that are supposed to be for a rink?
ive been trying for months and i cant get the first move where she bounces and spins. what am i doing wrong!!! all i do is roll forward :(
Which one is the easiest?
Soooo...I have Panther's and Lolly's with gummies...just relearning. I have Luminous on the way...will they be better for this?
Hi Estro! How do you keep yourself from getting dizzy while spinning?
Former figure skater here- I learned to focus on one spot when spinning, and as was mentioned, breathing helps too!
When you eventually do get dizzy, just do a quick spin the opposite direction!
Spotting. Make sure your head beats your body when looking at an object. I suggest practicing in front of a mirror so you can spot your eyes
could outdoor wheels be the thing making this difficult for me? i'm able to do a heel - toe spin but when i try to do a all wheel one i end up getting stuck
Would it be easier to do these tricks if I loosened my tracks?
What kind of wheels are yours? My PU won't slide at all but somehow bounce, so I can't do anything unless I lift a toe and the opposite heel
ooo weee 🔥
I used to be able to do all sorts of tricks like all those spins, turns, and jumps. Sadly cant do it anymore after I stopped for like 4 Years rip
Whats the difference between a long stem and short stem for toe stoppers how do you know which one you need??
So i can only spin two wheels and not four! Anybody know how to help?
Can anyone help... I am learning to transition from forward to backward but I can never switch 180, I always end up spinning nearly 360. I thought this would help me to understand how difference transition to spin but I am not getting anywhere 😩
Ive watched so many videos and have been trying for hours and still cant do it😭
I've been learning to spin for probably like 2 years now and I still can't do it longer then 3 seconds
Would love to see you editing a video where you start spinning but you end the spin looking like Lynda Carter version of Wonder Woman. Would be amazing!
She is explaining it really well, but I'm still so confused. 😫 I have been trying to manage a good spin for about six months now. :(
I try to bounce but automatically the front wheels leave the floor so i can spin😭 i get dizzy so fast
My friend and I got skates recently after not skating for a while and we wanted to learn a trick so we watched a clip of a girl spinning and I tried it and I ended up splatting onto my back💀
Ummmm this scared me because you are literally my doppelganger!!
👍✳️👍✳️👍✳️
“Estro Jen” ...I see what you did there
Today I learned that it’s centripetal not centrifical force…
Its so hard aaaa
Uuuuugh I just can't get it . And I really can't see her feet because of the words on the bottom are right on her feet . I can't figure out how you balance on the heel and toe my heel foot alway comes down .
Good morning.
i fell 💔
Thanks for this💚
Hey. Can I buy the lolly indoor rollerskate and choose the moxi trick wheel and still use the indoor lolly outdoors?🌟the trick wheels is also for outdoorskating so why is the lolly indoor a indoor skate? Is it just the wheels?☀️ I love Moxi rollerskates❤️
this seems extremely hard 😭🥹🥹
It’s 1am I really wanna skate and practice this 😂😭😭
Same here haha
Lol it's 1:55 for me
It is so fun I tried it and it worked
