This is really beautiful, I think BTS would really love it. They have watched covers before, and I hope they see this one. I’ve never heard anyone even attempt to correctly translate to an English version before, I know it really takes talent as a writer to do that. I never listen to reactor covers. I saw this pop up today and thought okay, fine. I’m expecting a call and if I have to answer during this I won’t care. I’m very glad that call did not interrupt because this is genuinely so good. Thank you for keeping the vocal melodies as similar as possible and also for not going crazy on the musical production. What an honor to Bangtan and their music to do it this way. Hearing the lyrics about growing a flower in a dream that can’t come true in English with your delivery hit me hard. I've seen quite a few self proclaimed "musicians" critiquing the body of work of BTS while not even being close to them in talent or skill set. But you're one of those talented people who are genuinely good at it and you've earned my respect! 🙌

I’m not sure whether it would be possible but it might be interesting to cover/experiment with ’Louder than bombs’. The song is quite challenging though, BTS have never performed it live.

You did it! When you said you might do a cover I thought you mean a karaoke type cover but you really did THE cover. You got the essence of the song, all the parts of it, and sang it for real. Many of “perceived love songs” are written ambiguous enough so that it’s applicable not just between lovers, but other types of relationships (familial or friendship). An argument can even be made that Fake Love may be about BTS’ struggle with fame and the fake love experienced to or from their fans. After all, they are putting on a persona doll like image to make us fans happy.

OMG, how did I not know about this, for lack of a better word, crossover?!? I was a big fan of Plus One as a young teen, attending every concert from the one with Jaci Velasquez, the first headliner with Stacie Orrico and Rachael Lampa, went to the Obvious listening party, the tour with ZoeGirl and numerous fairs and even the small Macy’s appearance. Went when it was just you, Nate, and Gabe. Wow, that was just a trip down memory lane. But now as an Army this just completely made my day! Love that you are covering them and reacting to them!

I have seen lots of people saying that they are professional voice coaches/teachers, producers, composers, etc. but none seem convincing, it didn't feel like they understand music. But your comments and judgments were always on point and you explained things like a true professional musician.

As an artist (of drawings), I always think of music in terms of art (because I don't know anything about making music, but I do know about the creative process). I usually liken song covers to fan art (when an artist draws artwork of their favorite characters from a franchise) & most of the time the art is what you'd expect; nothing bad by any means but it'll be the characters drawn in whatever the artist's style is & that's it (my uncreative ass does this 😂). But occasionally, you run into fan art of the characters that has a completely unique spin on them; where the artist has totally made them into something all their own, but still showcases the original. The latter is what your 'Fake Love' cover is like! The original is there, the meaning, the melody, etc., but you put a spin on it that has elevated it above any other 'Fake Love' cover! I appreciate the creativity of the lyrical translation as well as the way the melody has been made to suit your voice. This turned out amazing! 👏 👏 👏 I hope it reaches BTS!! (PS: JK's on TikTok a lot nowadays & watches/interacts with fan content. Maybe try posting it over there!)
