Île de Versailles and Jardin des plantes, Nantes | France - Walking tour 4k

Île de Versailles, located on the Erdre River in Nantes, is an artificial island created partly from materials obtained by digging the Nantes-Brest Canal. Today, it is covered by a beautiful, quiet park.
The Jardin des plantes de Nantes is a municipal botanical garden with a history dating back to 1688. Today the garden accounts at around 11,000 species of plants surrounded by ponds, waterways and paths, collection of statues, pavilions, fountains and cascades.
