    “Explode drum track” is described here, and you’re the first person who has explained it thank goodness!! I was trying to figure out how to separate the drums into individual sounds and you helped me so much, so then I can singularly mute drum sounds for places like the intro/ outro/prechorus!!!

    This is incredible. You really have such a great way of teaching. I’m learning so much from you. I’d LOVE to see a video that explains the midi preferences screen with some external gear showing what all the options mean and how they work. BTW, #niceshirt!!😂

    Great workflow, I suggest to always start with your drumkit program on track 17 and living the first tracks empty, so when you explode the drumkit to track, your new drum start on first and keep the same structure for each project. Thanks for sharing

    An easier way to insert your sequences in song mode is to hit the Rec button, then tap the corresponding pads. When you're done, hit stop.

    Thank you for the awesome videos. Now I understand MPC much better. Most other videos are hiphop sampling related, so it was great to have some resources more geared towards midi composition.
    Any thoughts on Akai Force? I just found out it existed, and now I feel like I'm missing out on Midi clips playback.

      I love the Force.... actually sold my MPC live 2 (Kept the MPC One) in order to get a force. Ill have a lot of videos coming soon... I have a feeling the Operating systems will eventually merge, giving MPC a linear sequencer and Macro knobs.. which would be AMAZING. Lets hope that happens.

    When exporting a song. I always add an empty 1st bar otherwise it will miss the first fraction of the track when listened back on another device.

    Hey how do you like the Antelope Audio interface

    • @CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE
      @CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE  Před 2 lety +1

      I love it man, I’ve had really good luck so far With both the unit and the customer service. Or the converters sound amazing, and the clock is rocksolid, I’ve never had an issue with the software crashing and the plug-in sound pretty good as well. I just switched over from an Apollo rack, but I’m keeping the Apollo rack and running it has eight inputs through ADAT. My only complaint about the interface is that they don’t take full advantage of the buttons, such as the bottom button that has a little antelope on it, doesn’t really do anything and you can’t program it to do anything, but it would be a perfect button for switching the output signal between the monitor output and the line output for a second set of monitors. But overall I’m really happy with it.
      Also, make sure to check your email;)
