Man those E1's were monumental at the time. I remember shaving down the magnets in the trigger to ease release. Only problem was it made them bouncy as all hell if the cocker wasnt tuned smooth enough.
Try to find an Eclipse in good original condition. Building one yourself would take quite some knowledge and experience. It would also be a shame to destroy an undrilled Cocker body.
