@Christian Elijah De Guzman I love you
As a child, I found out the hard way that the Pirate Ship doesn't float. And the sails seemed to fall apart in the water.

Yep
Titanic never capsized, so no.
GeoHistoria no, no he’s got a point
The boat sets that included actual floating hulls were my childhood envy. So i had to find some of the hulls on ebay to buy separately. Not cheap!

Sorry... next time i will make a video with some accidents :-)
Lol
The fact that titanic was one of the only few that sunk😂😂😂
LoL
Well it works just as in real life.
It was way to top heavy
I dont think that's the titanic... It looks like rms lusitania or the olympic ship
No the shop with monster truck sink
In the old days the boats would be supplied with separate (heavy) keel elements - leave these off when playing on the carpet, but attach in the bathtub. I think these can make many of the shown sinkers float as well.
Lookup set 311 on for instance.
Thanks. I hope to make an update this year and will try it with the keel elements!
True that. I remember I had a lego boat from the early 80. It had a keel with some metal part wrapped in plastic to lower the COG. Point is that whatever Lego thing, made in plastic, would for sure float. What's not sure if the COG is above or below floating plane. If it's above boat would overturn.
@@joegranata7936 Lego does not float by itself, you do need to encase some air!
@@diatonicdelirium1743 "Lego does not float by itself,"
The average lego brick weighs less than the water it displaces, ergo legos float.
@@Princess_Celestia_ Until they fill with water... really, just try it out: normal bricks sink when they fill up!
One caveat: I've never washed any brick newer than 2018.
Ah yes. My favorite play feature of the lego titantic: "sinks, just like the real thing!"
Technically, they all floated in the sense that none of them dived to the bottom of the pool. It is just that some of the ships preferred to float on their sides rather than their bottoms.
#spoileralert ;-P....... but you're right :-)
3:30 if i remember it was suppose to fly
LoL
the taller boats/ships need a "keel" (the part of the ship that is submerged in the water) to counter balance all that weight. In other words the centre of gravity is way too high above the water line, at which point if the ship were lean over due to high winds or rough seas it would never recover and simply keep listing until it's basically upside down. But it's Lego so i think you already know that.......just needed an excuse to play with your boats in the water XD.
2:57 who can say the love
2:55 this is why the Titanic is considered unsinkable lol
0:30 literally half submerged Yep IT FLOATS
LoL
Its an APC in the military it is half submerged
@@fbi_2rex489 no i meant there was literally water in the passenger cabin

Technically they all float, some just cant stay stable or have a big part under water but they float
Yes... you've got a point......
@Luis Fernando Caiguaraico Cordero float and stay in the correct position. they don't sink propelly
@@StartBricking eďeeee
0:45 I remember having those lego sets as a kid. Brings back good memory of my childhood
Always nice to bring back childhood memories :-)
@@StartBricking oh absolutely!
2:57 that’s basically titanic in a nutshell
Yes, that's the very short version of the 3 hour Titanic movie ;-P
Start BRICKing lmao
2:56
2:59 it was a Real titanic
Read more if u have watched the video
It makes sense that the titanic doesn’t float
Please do not reveal ;-P
:/ dont reveal pls
Lol
Yep
That’s clever
The pirate ships would've floated if you gave them an upside down triangle shaped base for stability. It's why the cargo & coast guard ships floated so well
The cargo, coastguard, tug boat and trawler have a hollow base which is why they can effortlessly float.
Ik had niet verwacht dat de Titanic zo zinken ;-S
Those sail boats toward the end of the video probably would float if they weren't so top heavy.
Hope Lego will make a sail worthy Pirate Ship
If you put some weights in the bottom center they would you just have to get the balance right
@@Zecer00 Yes, i will try that. Thanks
@@StartBricking Probably a deep keel that reaches down far enough to counterbalance the tall mast. You could try to add some metal to the bottom, I'm really curious if that would keep the pirate ship from capsizing.
@@ZopcsakFeri When i was a kid boats came with ballast keel : thumbs.worthpoint.com/zoom/images1/1/1113/20/vintage-1970s-lego-fire-boat-2_1_9881fb4f21c79dc42da1ff396cd564ce.jpg
This balances the top (doesnt stop leaking though :))
LEGO just stopped caring if their boat models were buoyant it looks like lol. Kinda makes sense, the older boats that do float all have 1 custom large keel piece to be watertight, and they came with those heavy weighted blocks to help with displacement.
A historically correct Titanic. Well done, Lego! ;)
It was not LEGO it was cobi
Thats not lego its off brand
Looks like they all float. Not all float upright, the balance is off. But they are all buoyant.
No.... not all... But i agree that it is hard to sink Lego to the bottom of the ocean.
LoL at 2:45 you have a scorpion in the pool following the ship 😂😂😂
That titanic is extremely realistic, LEGO really out did themselves!
Lego box: boat not float

LOL
The Titanic sinks, ironic
sssssssst spoileralert ;-P
The Titanic did what it was supposed to do 😂😂 OMG thank you for the likes😊😊😊
Yes it did :-) LoL
Actually, it didn’t do what it was supposed to do. You know, since it was deemed the “unsinkable ship.”

Ps:I liked the speedboats the best
Thanks Taylor! Always nice to bring back childhood memories
1:59 first fail
these boats are awsome i really enjoy this keep up the good work
Thanks Jessica😀
Boats that are too slim for their height and size are doomed to fall
Yes and some of them are very slim
They all will, you just need to add ballast.
Ñññññk V gestionó
æææåė
Nah, only the solid hull ones can float. The others hulls are multiple pieces and allow water to flood in freely. The ballast would just have it sinking upright instead of on its side.
At least the titanic was realtic
WOW COOL!
2:49 is the part where the fail compilation begins
Oh yes georgie, they float, THEY FLOAT.

The secret to make these boats float is FLEX TAPE
Nice video.
Actually, they all "float." They fall over in water, but they all technically float.
SM Brickfilms yup
SM Brickfilms what
smartass
Once again the Titanic didn't float for long
It would have been nice if there are battleships, destroyers, and aircraft carriers made out Lego included in the video.
All float, not as intended, but float

2:50 Titanic
They float Georgie..... They fflloaatt!!! :D
LoL :-)
dang the titanic sunk, just like the real thing!
The pirate ship is cool!
It is!
2:53 there’s a reason why I didn’t float
Excellent
Leuk gedaan man keep it up
Thanks Nick Gaming!
Cool!
Great video
Thanks Titanic Boy! Nice name b.t.w. :-)
The most wholesome video
Thanks!
The new lego Titanic set with real sinking action!
1:58 so quiet had to turn my volume all the way up.
The reason the large ones did not float upright is that they lack a keel fin. The moment caused by the ship’s high center of gravity is balanced by the fluid force on its large surface area. I can almost guarantee that if you built a keel fin on the pirate ship it would actually float.
It is definitely worth trying. I also thought of a balast brick from Lego boats from the 80s. The pirate ship will definitely sail longer than in this video! Thanks for your comment!
"The reason the large ones did not float upright is that they lack a keel fin"
A keel alone won't solve that problem, they would still want to flip over. Those old sailing vessels require both a keel and ballast to remain upright.
Wow ale super! 😲
Nice One ;)
Thanks :-)
The reason why the Maersk Triple E doesn’t float is that the containers make it top heavy!!!⚓️
Good theory. I'm going to try it next time without containers
I'd rather suggest placing a couple of 2x2x6 weights in the hull under the cargo
Hey that LEGO titanic is an EXACT replicas but smaller...they both don’t float
Uhhhh The real Titanic did float for several days...... ;-P
👏amazing 👏
I grew up playing with that second to last pirate ship, I remember it floating pretty well though
Nah, that pirate ship in the video is the one from 2011 or so, not the older ones. Older ones probably float though.
Titanic living up to the expectations
you are forgetting one important aspect. while many tipped over none actually sank so thus they all floated
It’s allmost impossible to sink a Lego boat 😉
@@StartBricking unless its broken
Well you put some some
The Titanic sinks just like its real life version, except not breaking to 2 pieces
I tried ;-P
i like how all of the big lego boats fell XD
me2 :-)
Did you notice the ones that did float he didn’t show his hand and the ones that sank he did
james Martinez this a joke?
Maybe he tried to make it float and move the first time without showing his hands but it didn’t. Then he probably cut that one and then tried it again, this time with hands on camera to “stabilize it” before letting go, to no avail.
@@EchoStopMotion 100 percent right.... :-)
