Harvesting Hay for Livestock, Opening Wood Processing Business | Zielonka Farm | FS 22 | ep #16

Welcome back to the Zielonka Farm Timelapse. Initially, our focus was on producing canned soups and distributing them to various outlets. Subsequently, we decided to diversify our investments by venturing into a new wood processing venture. During a visit to our livestock farm, we noticed a shortage of hay in storage. To address this, we equipped our VALTRA Q Series tractor with SaMASZ mowers and set out to harvest hay. Additionally, we enlisted the help of a FENDT Favorit Vario 900 tractor fitted with a LELY Lotus 1250 Profi tedder.
After drying the freshly cut grass, we gathered and baled it for storage. These hay bales were then transported to our warehouse and utilized in our feed mixing operations alongside silage and straw.
Recently acquiring a plot of wooded land and a woodworking enterprise, our immediate task is to supply wood for processing. Initially, we opt for manual chainsaws instead of costly equipment. We embark on this task by loading logs onto our truck at the forest site, utilizing a telescopic loader for assistance. Our goal is to expand our product range and establish a thriving new business in the near future.
