I watched Glenn Webb religiously.... and I know I didn’t know him personally but when I found out he passed away.... man I couldn’t keep the tears from rolling my heart broke. This Hulk is amazing but I do like it better with the smaller Marvel Legends Hulk head popped on.... the contrast between the smaller ML head and the MS body makes him look like a cutting edge comic book giant and I love it....
Where DST always fell short was articulation. Not in this case... and the texturing and shading just look sooooo much better on this Hulk. Not to mention that this Hulk isn’t as “bubbly” in anatomy as the ML 80th Hulk. Will be interesting to see if DST continues with improved articulation in the future.
Both are great, but I prefer the 80s, as it scale with other Legends better. I know Hulk scale changes alot, but I can't justify his pants stretched that wide compared to his legends peers xD
Within the last 6 months I have been replacing my ML's with DST's. However, I kept my 80th Anniversary Hulk because I thought it was a great piece of work too. But the Immortal Hulk is the Hulk in my collection.
This figure is great and I almost going to pick up, but not a fan of an open mouth head, it's better that they had an extra neutral grinding teeth head than that cyborg head.
Just imagine walking down a street and seeing Hulk, Rhino and Juggernaut, you'd definitely go a different way haha, always love your layouts and fun scenes :D
I just recently got both the 80 years Hulk and the MS Hulk, and I gotta say I prefer the 80th anniversary one more. I just prefer the unique ripped shirt, better articulation, and prefered scale. My opinion might be controversial but to me, The 80 years hulk is My ABSOULUTE FAVORITE figure in my collection and it won’t change.

I converted over to Mafex and mezco maybe 7 years ago and my select still hold better for me personally especially the larger figures. I do have my thor and destroyer selects I think the new marvel legends might replace them.
The first af i decided to get as an adult was Diamond Select Gambit... bc... Gambit! But Juggernaut looked so beautiful that i HAD to get him in the same order! They were both my first. No regrets! I scoffed toybiz/hasbro from that time, until i felt i needed articulation. My next fav Xman is Wolverine. Series 3, 5-pack Wolvie for me!! Funny thing, S3W sized wrong with Marvel Legends, but perfectly with DS!! Many reject 5-packsW’s face, but i think it was meant to cross that bridge into pragmatism/ realism. And if you take a step back, it does that better than any other. SO YES, I INTEGRATE!! And DS Colossus was available at that time, so he was always my go2 for C. The only regrettable thing about him was the length of his arms, or lack thereof. To accompany Gambit and Wolvie, I got DS Sabertooth. Looked the best until ML Caliban wave. Artic was kinda shoddy, but didn’t stop me from taking awesome pics of them 3 fighting!!!!! My final example here of DS + ML integration for now is that I had use for one more to help my illustration processes! (examining intentionally distorted mass) Colossus sized well with Juggernaut.... but was he the strongest there is? I needed a Hulk! Infact, guys, Face-Off Hulk is the perfect size in relation to DS Juggs, Gambit, et al!!! Yes! Why must you all insist on conflating ‘might’ with ‘height’! Hulk is the strongest there is; not the biggest there is!!! THE FACT THAT HULK IS STRONGER THAN SOMETHING TWICE HIS SIZE, OR 3X, AND CAN CONQUER GREATER DANGER IS WHAT MAKES HIM INCREDIBLE!!!🤯 DS Rhino sucks! He’s not a mutant! Rhino is augmented by a suit; not magic!! Toybiz Fearsome Foes Rhino for me, forever! FO Hulk is still my fav Hulk! He can bend his toes! His face sculpt is perfect! His scale is perfect! PLAY YOUR MVC2, PEOPLE!

I love mine picked him up last week , he is truly massive and looks menacing opposite the Marvel Legends Red Hulk. Just wish he came with an Immortal Hulk head sculpt instead of the cyborg variant. This is a nice looking Hulk that I definitely want to add to my Display. I have a few mixed in with My Marvel Legends when it makes since, and they fit in the display better than the marvel legends. An example of this is Sabretooth I like the select version better than the legends version. Other Selects I have mixed in are Colossus for 80’s X-men and Ragnorak Gladiator Hulk which is a nice looking Hulk also. Plus the Hulk should be bigger than everyone anyway.

Nice review, i like marvel select when it comes to big super heroes characters like Juggernaut and Colossus , most of my Hulks are Marvel Select and most of my regular Marvel Characters are marvel legends. Thia Hulk is my newest and i posed him with my Avengers Marvel Legends and they look great, Hulk is supposed to be huge.

This Hulk is the only Select figure I have with my Legends. Theres only 5 or 6 even out. MK7 IronMan Blacksuit Spiderman Cap and Thor and this Hulk.
