I purchased the fly more combo. Love it!
Right now I have my Air for about year (I passed my Spark to my wife as she also likes photography and it's a good boost for her creativity) and did around 40 flight hours with it. It's a huge improvement compared to Spark in many ways, not only in video&photo output quality. I still have the original 3 batteries from fly more combo and it's perfctly enough for what I usually need to shoot. Fun fact is that I always get most of shots running on last battery since I learned to plan the shots before takeoff (learned this from you - thanks, btw) and when the location and conditions are great, then I wish those 15 minutes would last forever :-)
Great vid Francis, tis what we like, spontaneous not staged. Got the Fly More Combo and then got a fourth from HeliGuy, delivery was two days. Took the whole kit to Bali and currently going throu around 8hours of footage to edit. Keep up the good work.

I purchased the Fly More Combo (which co es with a extra battery) while they were running a special that included a free battery for purchases totaling “x amount of dollars”, which mine was. So I got a total of three batteries, which gives me plenty of flying time!
Great scenery - definitely need to visit Ireland.
So glad I got the Fly more combo, I rarely use more than 1 and half batteries when out.
I had a hearth attack when you landed on those rocks. Its so unflat, one small bad manoeuvre (especially because its so windy there) and you lose a prop. I always land on my hand when there are no flat surfaces.
You got some nice footage of the rocks and the shoreline, And even had a bit of scare near the end.

Just brought the Air. Was a toss up between that or the Spark, very I happy I decided to spend the little bit extra!

Hi Francis, your drone video is still unparalleled. It must be your strongest suite. My spirit lifts up as soon the music started, and combined with beautiful footage, that part is priceless. Another great video, and as for the battery I punched the fly more combo and 2 extra batteries just incase, I bought genuine ones from the JB Hifi store I bought the drone from, I really hope you get some more batteries so we can see more of your work and not get restricted by the amount of life from just the one battery, we should all chip in and buy you another one lol

Once again a great video. Still flying the Spark and very happy with it but one day I will upgrade and the Mavic Air seems to be a good candidate.
The spark is an awesome drone. :)
The only drawback for me, compared to the Mavic, is the stuttering movement when recording sideways, with the Circle Quick Shot, for example.
Thomas Meyer I also noticed this. That, 4K / RAW and the battery life are the 3 things I really look forward to when I have a new drone. Francis, what are your predictions about what DJI will announce later this season?
no need upgrade if you allready have drone. wait patience air 2 coming after mavic pro 2.. not need new iphone every year even its more ram more speed same PRICE

I have a total of 4 batteries for my mavic air. But they are all useless right now because I had a fly away and had to crash it into the ground... So pretty depressed about it and the drone is in the repair shop.
Im a big fan of your channel and how you get great shots so efficiently. Your 10 tips to better footage was just awesome and helped so much!

I had to laugh when the Air started peeping and I knew it was going to return to home where you started from. I purchased the Fly more combo so I have three batteries. I think it is always best to buy the Fly More on any new drone you buy from DJI and the Refresh too. I have grounded my Air until DJI releases a fix to the .0400 update. Next time I will wait to see what happens to others. I'm not taking a chance for now and just flying the Mavic Pro Platinum.
What's the bug in the .0400?

Hi Francis I was wondering if I could ask you a question I have a DJI Spark and was wanting to take it abroad on holiday with me but have heard stories that people s drones are being taken off them at the airport have or did you ever have a problem with this and also did you just put the spark in your carry on bags. Also do I need to do anything with the batteries or need any paperwork etc if you could help me out or do a video on it that would be great thanks.
I have never had a problem with taken my drones in carry on. But you should always research the country before hand as some places will not accept you bringing a drone over the border. So aways be careful.
Always carry your drone and batteries in carry on. Get lipo safe battery bags for the batteries as well (to reduce risk of fire if the batteries explode). Always read the regulations for flying drones in the country you're going to. Google is your friend.

Fly more combo is a mandatory especially for novice! But having some experience with Spark automatically means that only one battery is enough for successful shooting I belive!

Don’t buy without the fly more combo. When your getting shots like this you use up time heaps!
Me, I bought the basic pack and then I bought a little bit later a second batterie and 2 batteries it’s enough to enjoy maybe a third one if you are traveling and you are all day long outside without restaurant to fill up the batterie but if no : 2 batteries it’s fine

with the coronavirus shutting down DJI's factories well maybe more than a couple of months for a battery.
You can buy genuine Mavic Air batteries on ebay from UK sellers either new or refurb.

Fly more combo here. I don't think you can ever have enough batteries. The charger holds 4... I've been thinking about getting a 4th battery to be honest. I can't believe you only have one. lol
