btw, Naruto had half his chakra absorbed into Momoshiki (who became stronger from it) and Sasuke’s portal uses like 40 terabytes of chakra storage depending on how many people he teleports, and has to conserve energy for the trip back. So Naruto and Sasuke are both basically at half power here, meaning a full power Naruto or Sasuke individually would body Momoshiki.
Nah, not Sasuke alone though? He doesn't have the stamina to beat someone with that much chackra as a otsutsuki. Also Naruto technically no one can beat Naruto. Jigen even needed the ten tails chackra to win. Even then only Sasuke got injured near death. But Naruto could have taken Jigen and Ishikki alone. With Barion mode it makes him the most undefeatable no debate. But with Sasuke it's debatable.

Jigen, like Momo, easily beat Naruto by warping him to another dimension which Sasuke can also do. So that's 3 people who can beat him. Sasuke, while weakened from crossing dimensions, got praised above full health Naruto who was captured. Thereby could be killed. With Baryon Mode he loses by leaving them leaving dimension.

Gaara reacting and actually straight up stopping Momoshiki’s attack is more impressive than the Tsuchikage simply dodging a punch. Gaara trapped this dude in sand and almost got a jutsu off. The Tsuchikage dodged a hit and got one tapped.
She sought herself up for the neck chop knockout.

But no one else dodged though. Gaara’s sand powers can be nearly instantaneous, like when he kept blocking Rock Lee AFTER dude opened 5 inner gates. Not to mention, he couldn’t weave Momoshiki’s attack afterwards. That’s why she performed best of all the other kage
@@arey4944 Wrong. When Gaara uses his sand for the purposes of attacking, they are as fast as his combat speed. His defense is also as fast as he is, but the will of its defensive properties act outside of Gaara’s own will. Against Lee, Gaara’s sand was barely keeping up with Lee’s movements, just like Gaara himself. So yes Gaara is the most impressive out of the kage, and almost got an attack off. Gaara’s sand is the same speed as himself. His defenses just act on their own. Gaara > Tsuchikage in Boruto. She barely kept up, just barely dodged, and she set herself up for a neck chop she couldn’t even react to. Gaara reacted to Momoshiki’s movement AND combat speed, AND completely trapped him in sand before Momoshiki could get him. Momoshiki simply overpowered the sand and got to Gaara.
To truly tackle this question, @@MrMan2006 there has to be an understanding of some background details
- Because Gaara has his mom helping him, you can’t really give him the full credit of reacting to, or countering Momoshiki.

I love how this one exchange is basically a best of compilation of Naruto and Sasuke's fights from throughout the series. We've got the shadow shuriken triple fake from the Zabuza fight, the rigged shuriken from the Itachi fight, the burrowing underground uppercut from the Neji fight, The transformation disguised as a rasenshuriken from the pain fight, and probably several more that I missed.

That’s satire that just isn’t true. On the databooks, and light novels it’s stated Gaara’s Taijutsu prowess rivals Naruto/Sasuke and he’d trained ever since he became Kazekage to get to that point. Shira I think his name is another shinobi like Lee who couldn’t use ninjutsu, or Genjutsu… After Gaara promoted him to Genin Shira began teaching Gaara how to fight Shira doesn’t use the Eight Gates he uses a technique he made called The Seven Heavenly Breaths. There’s an anime fight between Lee and Shira.

I like how the kages wanted to go against Naruto once he got nerfed later on, like bro, Naruto went base form against this alien that one shot all four of you in seconds. Also all the other kages that came before this generation must be rolling over in their graves, especially the 2nd raikage, mans fought the eight tails to a stand still every time it went crazy, and this raikage got smacked once and knocked out.
This generation of Kage would destroy their predecessors. Them losing to Momoshiki isn’t an anti-feat because Momoshiki is stronger than the strongest enemy in Shippuden that being Kaguya who makes the Tailed Beasts collectively look weak. Darui was relative to Momoshiki prior to him fusing being able to threaten him whereas the previous Kage were relative to some Bijuu not only that the Third Raikage (A) would fight the Eight Tails not the Second Raikage. He could only ever stalemate the Eight Tails.

In all fairness the kages were jumping both the shikis pretty good even Naru-Sasu joined in, and they krumped Kinshiki so hard he had to basically lethally injure himself to get free to go back up Momo. When the latter turned the former into a fruit and chomped him up though, got mad upgrades from it, that's when shit hit the fan for real.
So I'd argue its not so much the other 4 kages being shit, but rather being good enough that they pushed the shikis so hard that they were forced to pull their final trump to outclass them.
