May I propose an idea? Here are 29 demands of you must follow in this nuzlocke video. Put these demands in notes and scramble them in hat, bag or something else and you have to make a team on pokemon that you can get, based on the note you pulled.
Pokemon that looks like Kaiju. For extra name the pokemon after the Kaiju it looks like. (examples, Baxcalibur Named Godzilla, Volcarona named Mothra, Aerodactyl named Rodan or Aggron named Bulgasari)
Either Froslass or Gallade
Either Male Gardevoir or Female Glalie
Pokemon that looks feminine but he has to be male. (Excluding Gardevoir, there's seperate note for him)
Pokemon that looks masculine but she has to be female. (Excluding Glalie, there's seperate note for her)
Pokemon that evolves through trade.
Pokemon is either species or evolved form of a species that KO'd one of your pokemon. (If you have not lost any pokemon until this point, put this note back and draw new note)
Pokemon whose picture comes up first when you Google 'One pokemon from (Game you are playing)'. If first picture is that of multible pokemon or is pokemon that you already have, ignore it and look at picture after it and repeat until you get to picture that has one pokemon.
Pokemon from your favorite type.
Pokemon that looks like dinosaur
Ghost-like pokemon
Serpent-like pokemon.
Pokemon of your least favorite type.
Pokemon that favorite character in pokemon anime either has or had.
Pokemon you bred using two pokemon of different species (these pokemon don't need to be any of from other challenges. However, if this is the case, after capturing these pokemon you must not use them for anything else but for breeding. Resulted pokemon must also have an egg move.
Pokemon who is seemingly made of more than one invidual. At least one of its forms. (Examples in case you're confused. Exeggcute, Klink or Falinks)
One pokemon whose picture comes up first when you look up 'pokemon' in Deviantart
This pokemon is not evolved into its final form and must stay unevolved into its last form for rest of the video.
Pokemon species who'se male and female have some differences at least.
Insectoid pokemon
Fish-like Pokemon
Pokemon that looks like a dragon but isn't a dragon type.
Pokemon that looks like an object.
Pokemon from Type chosen either by your friend or random person chosen by you in chat.
Pokemon from Egg group chosen either by your friend or random person chosen by you in chat.
Non-Water pokemon you either found in water or caught by fishing (Depends on the game)
Pokemon that neither evolves from or evolves into any other pokemon.
Pokemon of a specific color chosen by either by your friend or random person in chat you choose.
If you have chat watching you, choose one of chatters randomly and ask them choose pokemon for you to find. They have to rethink their answer if pokemon they chose is not available in game you're playing.

It’s infinite fusion and it’s mostly everyone’s first time playing it in a competitive format, so in a way, this *IS* their first tournament.
Now I want to know what the worst fusions are. Like how badly can you screw over two decent pokemon by combining them?
Probably by using truant or slow start
put a slow special attacker as the body, and a fast physical attacker as the head, its easy enough

The infinite fusion teambuilding alone is so much to think about, bringing it up to natdex gives so man options that its hard to even know where to begin.

Yeah, I appreciate the amount of effort that went into editing this, but for tournaments a long format with whole battles is a thousand times better. You can't really capture the excitement of the battles otherwise, no matter how good the editing and narration is. Some light editing would be good to remove dead time between battles and speed up any stall stalemates, but that's it.

That team was named after songs from ONE OK ROCK's 2022 album, Luxury Disease.
Yeah, it was really cool seeing her being the only one actually naming her pokemon and having a theme for it, at least for the players who made it into the video. I mean obviously in a competitive format names don't really matter, this isn't a nuzlocke, but it was cool precisely because it didn't matter.

Infinite Fusion did not get added to Pokemon Showdown, there is a fan-made server for it. You can find it on the wiki!

I really really appreciate all the explanation at the beginning. It can be hard to follow pokemon if you don't know it all, but with fusion it gets much harder, so the explanation is very welcome.

sadly most nat dex sprites won't work right now due to how the coding works so any sprites you decide to make would have to be of pokemon that exist in IF dex

I haven't clicked off not because I'm NOT interested in sprites, but because I'm ALSO interested in competitive play and new concepts. People contain multitudes, JAN.
You're not the kind of person the disclaimer was directed to, but towards the inevitable "wah wah, they're using the same 6 fusions instead of my favorite!!1!1" commenters. You'd be surprised how easily they can ruin entire comments sections if they're given no warning of the sort.
I appreciate the effort taken in editing so that people not as familiar with pokemon can keep up with the commentary

I was going to leave after realising that cool artwork wouldn't be featured but then I stayed and got to see some really cool plays and some very interesting fusions.

The idea of fusions competitively is really cool. There's so many combinations that there's a good chance some perfect counter is just not discovered yet and it gives so much room for the meta to shift but equally plenty of tools to deal with the meta. And yet since you only have to be familiar with every Pokémon (heh... Only... As if it's not over 1000) the barrier of entry isn't actually as high as it would be for entirely new creations.
I feel like having a fast special attacker, mixed with pex to get merciless and Venoshock would be cool
Problem is pex is so slow and weak that it would bring down the fast special attacker to below average stats

I saw Sylvern and was instantly ecstatic because I thought of that for IF dex OU myself, and it has been the one constant on my teams. In nat dex though, I think Sylveon Kommo-o would be better with throat spray clangorous soul pixilate boomburst.

Imagine some maniac actually attempts to make custom fusion sprites for every possibility. Just getting one artist to do one Pokemon would be daunting if not overwhelming. It would need to be a massive undertaking.

This needs to be added to public servers with fan submitted custom sprites, or sprites out of infinite fusion, asap!!
I had always wondered how Infinite Fusion would work in a competitive setting, and well, this is my answer.
It honestly feels a lot more exciting since there are so many possible fusions you could run (well, legal ones that is), which allows for a lot more variety and customization.
Infinite Fusion already has over 176000 different combinations, so I can't even imagine that number all the way to gen 9.....either way it's a simple concept that makes a Pokemon battle a lot more interesting
I gotta say, hearing Temp6t's name show up in one of your videos gave me a serious case of whiplash -- but in a fun way!
