One of my teamates in maryland wore a prism all season and never got in any trouble for it.
Great video. In 1998, the NFL banned dark colored visors because medical personnel could not see a player's eyes once they attended to him on the field when an injury would occur, especially if the player was knocked out or concussed. This is the same reason only clear visors are permitted in most youth, high school, and amateur leagues as well. Be sure to check with your league which visors are legal before purchasing a visor(all of our visors are approved for youth leagues and high school football). If a company does not specifically say their visors are approved for youth leagues then the odds are they are not.
In Germany since last year we pretty much free of Liimmits what Kind of visor we can Wear, 2 Years ago it was Clear Only

So you forgot about the Axiom’s and because Riddell the only one who makes them currently I believe that they’ve actually bypass the rule a little bit because they’re technically one of the only helmets to have theirs built into the helmet
Well the Axiom offers a black visor version and a clear. Zeke wears a black but he wore a black in a speedflex so I’m assuming he already has the “doctors note” wear Pollard wears a clear. Is it reasonable to say the NFL bent a rule to appease a massive sponsor, yah probably. But In this case I think Oakley made the tint for guys that already had the doctors note.

My league has allowed us to wear tinted/color visors with the signing of a waiver. i just got a nxtrnd vzr3 clear gold and have a prizm pink tint coming tuesday

I play at the NCAA division 3 level and my teammates and I get away with a oakley prizm visor and the Nike pink tint visor in game
My league has a no drip policy so no tinted, colored, or patterned visors, no branded arm/leg sleeves, and no custom cleats, chinstraps(i have one and have gotten away with it😅) or gloves, its so stupid
