Sad this was the final Sonic game to feature the adventure era voice actors. Especially Deem Bristow as Eggman. R.I.P.

Regarding the Jack in the Box, you have to pay attention the the color of the diamond before it pops.
If it’s blue, it’s safe. If I turns red, then the spikes will appear.

Someone else already explained that in the comments, but I appreciate it :)

One thing about advance 3 that has never left my memory is the sentimentality of the credits theme and the sense of cathartic closure that radiates from those final images. It's odd that a 2d sonic game would make me feel that way and yet it does, and so evocatively as well; it's interesting how it manages to elicit this with such simplicity. Anyway, good job with the video; oh and by the way, regarding your point about Toy Kingdom's Jack-in-a-boxes (11:42): they can be predicted. The colored diamond on the center of the box changes from light red to cool blue. If the diamond stays read by the time box does its final shake, a spiked spring will pop out; and if it's blue, a hazardless spring will come out instead. You simply watch what color the diamond will be before the box stops shaking and that gives you the cue as to whether to stay aboard the box or jump off

I've been playing this game for 20 years and I'm still learning new stuff. I had never noticed the change in color. Thanks for teaching me something new!

If there’s one thing I love about Advance 3 is the soundtrack. My favorite Sonic soundtrack hands down. Cyber Track was a banger of a track 🤘

The OST for the Special Stages to me was the best track, perfect as background music for driving or doing an intense task.

I hope Sega remakes the advance trilogy or at least port it over instead of having another remake of fairly recent games

In a perfect world, we'd get a compilation of the trilogy and the Rush games.

This game right here is one of my favourites. The soundtrack and vibrancy in the levels are breathtaking!
However, how is it the requirements to get to the special stages are harder but the special stages themselves are easier?

Well it is better than collecting SP Rings without dying in a single act, here if you collect a choa the game immediately save your progress
