I have an antique booth in Rosebud Missouri. My typical best sellers are not selling. Things like old windows with wreaths use to sell quickly, not now. I think trends are changing, inflation is keeping people from spending, also so many department stores have the same type items made in China. These items are cute and cheap, hard to compete with!
I noticed that you had left some of the original prices that you paid for some of your items before you marked them up. I also have a booth at a local antique store. If we leave the original prices on our items they will sell it for the lower price. I always double check my items to make sure the old tags are removed. I know if I were to find an item where I saw it had been considerably marked up it would deter me from buying that item.
As someone who frequents the My Treasure House, thank you for showing all the new items and reminding me to stop by there. My husband says please stop shopping for me, lol. Your videos are getting better and better, keep up the good work.
When you add greenery and flowers to pieces do you price it separately or sell it all together? Greenery and flowers can get expensive. It looks much nicer when added.
I almost always price them together. I keep the florals affordable by grabbing them on sale at Hobby Lobby....sometimes I can find some that I like at WalMart or Target, or even yard sales!
