- One of the ways I keep my stream engaging, especially for just chatting segments is through motion!
I animate camera zooms, both fast and slow, I animate sources like text, graphics, and even my webcam to swap sides, or sizes at the press of a button so I’m never blocking my game, or maybe you died and want to express sadness like a cheesy 80s film, or become a cinematic hero with one click, and finally make it so when you scream from fear you vanish.

How To Use Hotkeys In OBS To Trigger Sources, Scenes, and more
Head to your Settings and click Hot Keys, search up the source you want to show or hide, for example my CAMERA, you’ll see a SHOW HIDE for the OBS Source, we’re going to hotkey each to something we don’t touch often or by accident, so CTRL SHIFT 1 for show and hide, and click apply.
Now when we press CTRL SHIFT 1, OBS will show or hide that source because of the Filter. These hotkeys can be used to trigger scenes, music, sound effects, and even combine all these at once.

How To Crop In On Your Camera In OBS
Let’s start with the easiest, but also one of the most effective ways to help add a bit more emphasis and engagement to whatever you are doing. I come from a Filmmaking background and one of the major techniques we use is shot size, we film wides, mediums, and close ups then cut between them to add emphasis or feeling to a statement.
To do this live, all you need to do is grab your camera, duplicate it, and layer it on top of the old camera. Zoom the camera in a bit, and then you can keybind it either in your settings to toggle the source on and off, as seen on screen now, go to Settings, Select Hotkeys, then find your scene you’re working in, find the layer, and then hotkey it to a button you don’t use such as your Numpad, or you can use an Elgato StreamDeck or StreamDeck alternative to do it very easily.
The style of this video is similar to Alpha Gaming and Gaming Careers in parts. A large influence on this series has come from content creators like Wild4games and Nutty.

I've set up my audio pretty much exactly as you have said on previous videos. I'm totally a noob at streaming. These videos are very helpful!
Just one thing I want to add for the Webcam flip that's saved me a lot of time. The visibility setting has an option to disable a source at the end of a movement or to enable a source at the beginning of a movement. So you could set off right to hide your Webcam at the end of its movement and on left to enable it at the start of the movement, that way you can do the same thing with less moves.
Yep! A lot of this isn’t the “best way to do it” but it’s the best way to teach someone how to use all the tools :)

i've been using a couple of plugins to spice up my stream and the move plugin is in like top 10 for me
also if you don't have a stream deck and don't like hotkeys, nutty has a video about turning a space keyboard into a stream deck

hey, man. i watched your video from two weeks ago, about audio. i was just wandering as you didn't mention streamers who play scary games and tent to scream a lot. is there an audio setting that will help remove background audio and allow me to scream? thanks again, learning daily by watching your content!!!

I'd recommend switching to OBS. Streamlabs is pretty scammy as they stole the code from OBS, and then locked some of the free features behind a paywall.
