Tribute band? That would be Martin Turner's outfit. This is the REAL DEAL. Andy has kept the band goin all these years and releasing new music every couple of years as opposed to any other outfit.

@@mybourbon Do you mean Martin Turner, the man who formed Wishbone Ash,? The man who wrote most of those classic songs,? The man who gave Mr Powell a job,? and the man who got s...t on from a great height by the man whom the rest of the original band cannot stomach because of his dirty work.?
No Martin Turner.... No Wishbone Ash. Remember that as a fact my friend..

@@mozartsmate6358 So he formed the band, so what? Andy got the band on the map by jamming with Ritchie Blackmore which led the band to getting their first recording contract. Martin may have written the songs, but not necesarily the music. All members had a part. Martin was voted out from behind the mic by the original members, which led him to having a sissy fit for the rest of his life. He tried to sabotage tours of the REAL band by starting his own band and using the WA name and planning his tours at the exact same time as the REAL band. He lost the court case because it was obvious what he was trying to do. Andy has kept the band going without a break. He continues to put out new music every couple to few years while Martin ( the quality writer of songs ) has not come up with anything new in decades. Martin is a has been. Just imagine if Andy had left and Martin had stayed, which I am sure you would have preferred. There would be no new music from the band in the past 30 years or more. There would be no world tours. Thank God for Andy, a working man's man, who tours much more, who comes out with new music instead of relying soley on the past, and who keeps the proud name of Wishbone Ash alive and well. Oh, and as for the rest of the band not to be able to stomach Andy, I guess that is why Ted Turner has played with the band in this decade.He played a few songs with the band in Arizona many years ago since that was where he was living. That does not sound like someone who cant stomach Andy.
