If you can’t afford a V8 but you want something modern and reliable with decent MPG and plenty of punch than a V6 is perfect. And besides Modern V6’s have more power than V8s from 10 years ago. They are not like they were.

2012 Camaro V6----323 hp
2018 Camaro V6----335 hp
And if it’s V6’s you hate, then why didn’t you mention the Nissan 350/370Z, Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8, or the infinity G35/G37. All of which do 0-60 in the 5 second range. That is nothing to sneeze at, especially in the case of a beginner who hasn’t experienced a fast car before. It’s a perfect starting place for a young car enthusiast or someone who can’t afford to pay V8 insurance, gas, and so-on.
burnouts are awesome until you have to buy another set. my c63 is a minimum of $1300 for a set and it goes every 10k miles . it gets old real fuckin fast
