Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.
check the fwooshs video about this figure, he points out some stuff thats wrong about the manufacturing of this figure that he fixes and you could fix to make ironman look a bit better

Thanks for the heads up! I just switched the calves and feet around, but will need more time for the arms part. I really liked this figure so much and had so much fun posing him around that I didn't even notice. lol! (Now for a million comments below this one saying the exact same thing)

This is my favorite classic Iron Man figure. It looks like it came out of a comic book page.

Yeah, it's the best one ever. If only we got the normal red and yellow. But it makes sense why they did it this way. So we'll mostly all be buying this one, and the classic coloured repaint.

Insane how in the past 3-4 years, we've completed the Fantastic Four, X-Men Blue & Gold Teams, Classic Avengers, Defenders, Alpha Flight, almost all of X-Factor, and a great start on the Brotherhood. Can't wait for what Hasbro has in store at NYCC.

Terrell Fields the biceps are on the wrong sides and the shins are backwards , just point the foot down and spin the shin around.

Terrell Fields If you look at any other figure compared to iron man, they will have two lines on their bicep on the outside and one on the inside, iron man’s are on the wrong arms, so there is two lines on the inside and one on the outside. I wouldn’t have noticed if nobody told me so I’m gonna leave mine like this, it looks fine and requires heating up and popping the pins out.

I think you need to rotate the lower legs to align the patterns with the feet. Robo of Fwoosh showed it in his review.

I love this Ironman...this is the version I grew up. I also picked up the Mezco one and that one is amazing!

You need to rotate the lower legs to fix the sculpt. And heat and pop the biceps from the shoulders and elbows and switch them around. Yours has the same problem as mine.
They all do, the arms are marked wrong from the molds themselves. When you pop them off they both show the wrong side letter.
Thanks for the tip. So I heated and removed a bicep, and the left side had an L sculpted on the inside of it, so I'm just gonna leave it. And the boots rotated does look better, thanks!

Not all, the arms on mine were perfect out of the box, the paint on both helmet sculpts however..
They need to make a updated Extremis Iron man figure!!!

That last classic avengers photo just needed the family matters quicksilver and scarlet witch, the vintage wave hawkeye,vision and black widow and either vintage black panther or the one that came with the spear and Cape. Now that im thinking about it throw in carol danvers as ms marvel and there you go. Now we just need a classic war machine and falcon then we have a true classic avengers line up. I'm probably missing characters like Hercules,she hulk and wonder man but the ones I've chosen are(imo)the classic avengers.

Did you do the foot fix?
A lot of them have the bottom legs put on backwards, the lines in the foot and bottom legs should line up.
All you have to do is turn the legs around and flip the foot.

Right when this video came out I bought That Iron man
Yeah, they should keep the chest as clean as possible, but it's possible to add butterfly joints. The only thing is they'd have to use a different type of joint in order to keep the chest the same. Think more like gundam models.
I've been waiting for this review for weeks and so glad to finally see it dude!! Usually your videos are what help me to decide if I'm going to get a figure or not, bt I'm glad I already pre-ordered because this Iron Man looks amazing! Can't wait to get him in a few days (hopefully)

We definitely need a classic war machine figure
The Mezco 1:12 Iron Man was in my main Avengers display, this figure replaced him! Don't get me wrong the Mezco is still a great figure but this new figure looks like it walked right out of the comics. Hasbro is killing it with these new 80th figures.
I also viewed the Fwooshs video on how to fix the biceps with some heat and turn the ankles around to the correct alignment.
I agree we should see a Silver Centurion and classic War Machine with this body

I love this figure he's my Iron Man in my Avengers display, just as Thor is and Hulk will be. Now I'm hoping I can find Cap.
Great review! Very nice Legend! I'll have to make more frequent trips to my local Walmart. For me to do that, says a lot about how much I want this figure. My Walmart sucks. It's in a bad part of town.
BTW, I case you didn't know, if you turn the smaller blast effects to the right spot there is an exact fit spot in the new effects.
I got its hands down one of my favorite marvel legends iron man figures period, I still need to get the captain America.

With the arms you can blow dry them and put them on the opposite arms and the legs you can move the boot swivel around and have the foot face down and turn it

I got this figure and i love it
Wanted to give a quick PSA that an easy fix to this figure is to flip around the lower leg/ankle piece since they all appear to be packaged wrong.
I love this figure! He is the only Iron Man figure I own, and have no desire to get more.
One thing that is wrong with this figure is that his biceps are switched, so left is on right and vice versa. I had to heat mine up and switch them, which worked out well.
He’s still an excellent figure, and so well articulated. I don’t think he needs the butterfly joints, it really would break up the sculpt and ruin the figure.

Yeah the normal head on mine is really sloppy for some reason, so I’m using the Alex Ross head right now. Definitely my favourite out of the two anyway.

In Canada the 80 years Iron Man, Thor and Cap are $10 more than a regular figure, which is already at $29.99.
I wish there was a variant of this ironman where he had the yellow instead of gold that would make him more accrate to the classic version and the arcreactor is yellow the same figure but with diffrent colors
I prefer the helmet with space for the nose because to me the other helmet looks a little too flat on the 80th anniversary. It does not look too flat on Tony Stark ai or stealth suit which is strange.

This is the iron i remember from my days of collecting comics. I do like the more modern suits but i prefer pre RDJ iron man look.
The biceps came assembled in reverse, also the calves are rotated 180 °, analyze the figure.
I love this figure but the hands need hinges. I wanted to pose the figure in the classic Tony sitting at his desk holding his helmet pose from the comics. But I can't because the open hand can't move. And the Tony head is HUGE. it doesn't fit on my Chameleon figure. I wanted a classic Tony in suit surrounded by armor. Those gripes aside I am still ordering 3 more for customs. The armor itself is awesome.

Just to clarify i think the nose version is actually technically a different armor from the non-nose one so i'll probably get two of them just to have both for an iron man armory :)

Yes it does have eyes under the mask because either in the iron man Tv show or comics you sometimes see his eyes under the mask (Don't know which comic or show.)
