I love the 7s but for Jordan Brand to add a “Nike Air” branding on the back is a stretch. There’s been other Jordan silhouettes that we would have liked to have that Nike Air,but couldn’t because it wasn’t a OG or a Collaboration 🤔 but this olive 7 can?🤦🏽♂️
I totally feel you on that. A fellow ShoeTuber mentioned that he believes this sneaker was possibly supposed to be a part of the Afrobeats collab, which the Vachetta Tan pair that released in 2022 looks very similar and was an Afrobeats collab, but he goes on to mention, he believes that collab got scrapped. Maybe it was supposed to be a pack. The box does read SE (special edition), so Nike clearly had a special reasoning behind it. Just not sure of that reasoning. On the other hand, these were supposed to release in 2022 but didn't. That indicates something changed with the release, but they released them anyways and now they seem a bit confusing to consumers.
