Honestly Bonnie i appreciate the similar find of the knife. For several of us there is NO WAY we can afford the price of the real deal. I feel like if there are those that CAN afford it they will get the real thing. I don't even think i can afford the wish one! Hi Bonnie. It's always good to see you, especially when you feel better. First, I just came back from our 3 day fun trip (not) to the big city and had my Ct scan. Also got measured for a knee brace. Then it was the surgeon, who told me how bad my knee really is. Yep, no wonder I'm pain. The wait list for surgery is up to a year! A year! Anyway, you asked. Lol. Then, I also have a crappy ear that closes up if I don't wear earrings all the time. Third, I love that knife, and I think my brother would love it. Another Christmas gift done! Don't feel guilty. I'm sure wish is not the only place that copied it, or he's not the only one in the world to have one. $200 is way too much for a knife. Ok, I'm done. Sometimes I don't know when to stop. Lol. So happy you're feeling better. Much love. Oh, I forgot, that pic of you and your hubby is gorgeous. Ok, I'm done. Lol.

@@TheBonnieLife Thanks Bonnie. It's the joy of living in the middle of nowhere. The surgeon is hoping to get a grant that would bring in another surgeon. Then the wait might be a bit shorter. He said he needs another for my surgery. That's how bad it is. Praying that the knee brace will help. That will be here in a few weeks. Thanks for the prayers.

I like eyeshadow on you! Does your grandson (who is on the spectrum) like that type of ASMR? My daughter might. She likes unboxings with crackly paper (I do too lol), dogs trying different crunchy foods or kittens drinking from a bottle, keyboard typing etc
Thanks! My grandson has auditory overstimulation so he doesn't like ASMR but he loves soothing sounds like white noise. It just can't be loud.

I'd like to but I don't think I trust Wish enough to do a whole face of makeup with their stuff. Tests have found some scary ingredients in their makeup.

I just want you to be aware that most of the makeup from wish has bad chemicals in it stuff that can really hurt you ... I really wouldn’t recommend buying wish makeup or other sites like wish .... because I care about your health and don’t want to see anything bad happen to you ❤️❤️
I'm aware of the issues with their makeup. Scary stuff! I have heard that the Phoera brand is safe and legit though. It's the only brand from Wish that I'll use. I'm grateful that you care. Thank you! ❤

Rather sure they copied the knife, China does this to EVERYTHING that might mean to take customers away from others, and buy from them instead. China does this, as part of their culture, They will never feel guilt or regrets over these types of actions. They are taught from a very young age that it is a good and honorable thing to copy the hard work of others, to make profits for themselves. Its why they have been known for eons on being a place where one can purchase cheaply the copies of the real products.
I don't think they're making much profit when they're selling things so cheap. I'd like to think they're just doing their best to survive.
@@TheBonnieLife I don't see it that way myself. If they get a thousand of those knifes sold..they are stealing the profits from a potential huge market for Almazan. China does this stuff..not merely to thrive..but they hold pride in this that they are able to copy designs off everything possible..to make a cheaper version. The original knife is worth the price they charge, and so a china copy of it only means they get to sell a design made by someone else.. made it popular.. then make it "easier" to afford, and that is stealing. I belong to reborn and silicone doll communities.. and after a artist spends months and months shaping and sculpting, and designing their dolls, they make them into kits, that china buys, and then illegally copies.. to steal the profit margins off those artists. Its the artists hard work, and then they loose a bunch of sales to these people, which in turn really hurts the artist community.. when the artists consider quitting the hard work, cause it wasn't worth all those hours of the work they took. China, is by no means some sorry lil group of people just trying to scrape by and make a living, they think its great to get rich off the work of westerners.. and westerners just keep buying and buying and buying into the idea that "its just a replica" or whatever nonsense they use to justify giving their money to cheap copies sold by thieves

I was just looking them up on facebook to order from them..and their facebook page has a link to a youtube video where they share warnings about counterfeit knives. So they already know the damage being brought to them by China, and other similar thieves. czcams.com/video/0belIwAzgIM/video.html
Wow! I didn't know there were people actually pretending to be selling their knives and even using their name. That's awful! I feel so bad for having purchased this one. I think I'll write them to apologize and let them know. I have had someone comment that they have the actual knife and that this knockoff doesn't come close to how nice theirs is. Thanks for sharing the video. I'm going to link it in the description as soon as I get back to my computer.
@@TheBonnieLife That is usually the case when they copy things, the quality of the item is always drastically reduced. They use cheap materials (like this knife, its made to semi look enough like the original one made by Almazan to tempt away the customers that want the "look", but don't wanna spend all that much. IF the knife were made equal quality and craftmanship, then they wouldn't be able to manufacture them at such a drastically reduced price. Its not fair, for the US craftmakers, to create something that inspires a demand for the product, only to have thieves steal the idea, and try their best to get the same look, but with shoddy metals and woods and other materials, so they can then sneak into the market demand for the product, and fool people into the idea its saving them a bit of dough. The person that created the Almazan knife spent a bunch of their time and efforts and made a handcrafted, hammered metal piece, and so their time and the quality of the materials put into them, deserved the huge price.
