Hey everyone! To make this brief, I am just a simple Elders Scrolls Online CZcamsr and hey maybe I’ll expand within the future but for the time being, my focus is to help beginners, returning and veteran players to be informed about many things within the game whether that is events, money making guides or even builds! I hope y’all find the videos useful and don’t ever be afraid to leave comments with either suggestions or criticism! Oh and some of ya might want to do the research and find things on ya own, if that’s the case then give the links below a try!

Warden is awesome to play. I play all classes and I have the most fun on the warden. May not be meta or OP at anything, but it's just a lot of fun!
I would not put the whole completed tier list in the thumbnail, its like a spoiler for the video and some ppl might see it and not watch since they already know what you're gonna say

I've been playing as a Magcro for several years now. The rotation is difficult on 1 bar builds, it's even more difficult on 2 bar builds mainly due to the differing DOT timers which make up the majority of the Necro's arsenal. I'm not surprised that the Arcanist is placed in the S tier in this video. When the Necro came out, it was considered the best of the best of classes. In typical ZOS fashion though, it got nerfed. The same will happen with the Arcanist, this is what ZOS does.
This is exactly why Im reluctant to hop on the archanist "train" too.
@@theanurabi Yeah it's a shame when we put a lot of time and effort into maximizing our characters and builds only to see those efforts wrecked.
Devs need to rework all the vanilla classes (Dragon Knight, Night blade, Sorcerer, and Templar) and give them one skill line for tanking, one for DPSing, and one for healing just like any other Expansion class.

I disagree, I really enjoy the way the originals have different trees. If every class was like the new ones it would get very stale, I think we need another class with 2 tank or 2 healing trees and 1 dps. Or other combos.

I disagree with the warden almost completely. I main a bow warden and the rotation is very simple and I'm hitting over 87k. It's also the best healer in the game (templar being a close second) and it's also an incredible tank. The frost warden one bar is also incredibly simply. The skill lines are also very role focused. Animals is dps, green is healer and and frost is tank/ice warden.
Gotta disagree with the DK ranking sadly, it is amazing in pvp and also just amazing in pve. It has always been the king of dps since forever, update after update, they are also great support dps and the best tanks.
One thing to note, I don’t even play a DK much, but I just can’t deny how good it is!
and best for solo paired with ring of the pale order,yes even better than puncuring templar (if they have pale order mythic,if they dont then they are probably on the bottom for soloing)
@@mad_mex0148 They should change that ring to only give healing for direct damage. Now you can just load up some dots and you never have to heal yourself again.

my warden tank is almost unkillable in pvp and uses NONE of those things sooooooooooo idk bro.
I'm a Sorc Main, too!! Here's a few things on my wishlist for Sorcs:
Sorcs need a better way to get Minor Force. Trap is a lame ability and we are short on bar space. Plus, Tzogvins isn't even meta right now.
Pets need an aesthetic update. They're ugly and big flappy wings annoy everyone (and they have been for years).
They also need to make it so tanks can pull in CCd adds so our scamp isn't hated in content.
Make pets immortal on all content or make them respawn instantly. A lot of classes have burst heals they can use whenever.
Can you PLEASE make a video of your wishlist for Sorcs. Maybe, ZOS will watch it! You're our last hope, Obi Jake Kenobi!!
Psijic has a skill that gives minor force, 30% blocking improvement, damage shield, and 30% speed buff in one skill. It is fine that classes have some holes so people have to experience other content. Pets have massive burst heal that is fast and can be pumped over and over and over. I am a terrible player with awful lag and sorcs make it possible to solo veteran content.
@@orclover2353 Im aware of that skill. The problem is you don't have enough bar space tryna run meta builds. It's like you're forced to find a spot for it when 2 pets take up four spots on your bars already. This is with Crystal Frags being used as your spammable, too.
Also, in meta groups you don't use the healy bird. You use the damage morph which can force you to use Crit Surge (if you use a heal at all). Crit Surge almost feels like a wasted slot with DKs using Igneous Weapons. If only, Healy bird did more dmg and another dmg skill provided Major Sorcery/Brutality for solo situations.
Or let pets only take up 1 slot instead two. Sigh...
@@txchainsaw8907The classes in eso are still unique enough, with positives and negatives. I hope eso doesn't give in the the community and continue to homogenize classes, this is one of the final stages of a dying mmo as players just want the class they are invested in to do everything well. Sorcs have multiple pets, huge damage shields, huge bomb dps, great mobility, aoe execute, resource sustain from execute, 4k heals from crits, the only class with a class identity that revolves around ranged off-balance. Dks have more generic buffs but that actually makes the class boring, skills are meh..templar can wreck content with one set and one skill, mag/stam blades need to do a bunch of convoluted things to get what a dk gets from 1 click, warden as no spammable, and necro has major sustain issues and overly complicated for difficult content. Sorc is in a good place, I would worry about a nerf rather than ask for more.
@@orclover2353 @orclover2353 You could give all the classes the same buffs and have the skills define how they feel/play.
The Sorc has issues with all those things you just mentioned. The Scamp's special stuns adds and tanks can't chain them in. The pets also die in places like Maelstrom Arena and take way too long to respawn. You can only fit 1 shield on your bar cause you need other skills in PVE. Sometimes you don't even use it cause you need the space. Shields arent too great in PVP either. They cost a lot of magic and get cut down easy. I assume by mobility you mean Streak. Streak isn't used in PVE much and is unreliable in PVP on console due to lag. Hurricane is okay in terms of mobility but everyone has access to gap closers. Dmg overall is okay but you borrow a lot from generic skill lines everyone has access to further diminishing a sense of identity. The execute is okay if you want to sacrifice a spot on your cramped bars for it. I'm fine with Sorcs not being meta healers or tanks but give us some room to breathe as DPS.
Templar just has so many baked in buffs, making them more fun to play. You don't have to worry about your buff management like at all with that class.
Necro and Warden need a lot of love, I think skills like Blastbones is cool on paper but it feels TERRIBLE to play, think they should just completely rework those type of skills honestly.
I think it should be a skill you push, it shoots out a Blastbones every 5 seconds for the next 20/30 seconds or something? Also, while you have the skill active you get Major Brutality/Sorcery! Bam! Skill fixed somewhat!
Great vid I like how you did an overall weight of classes very unique. This is a nice breathe of fresh air & positivity to otherwise generally negative & repetitive ESO tier lists tbh! Kind of a random idea I just thought of while typing this is a skill line tier list like comparison of weapons could be neat haha… but maybe they’re all S though 🤔
Got 1 of each class I got access to: Breton sorc, khajitt nightblade, dark elf dragonkight, argonian templar, orc warden, and a redguard necromancer.
Don't have necrom yet, but thinking of making a high elf arcanist.
Thumbnails are so small on my phone that I rarely look at them closely. Also, frost warden is a lot more unpredictable in PvP than the old dizzy swing stam version. Very powerful
Nice to know your take on the tier list. Usually class tier list are context specific like based on their role or content. I don't agree with it at all points but that is probably my own bias when it comes to my comfort with certain classes. Hopefully ZoS will give some love to Necros though, they are in a really bad spot now 😅

In a couple of different ways. For example in PvE, Necros were quite in demand earlier because they were a good source of Major Vulnerability from their Colossus Ultimate and an easy source of Empower from Empowerig Grasp. But with the addition of sets like Turning Tide and Archdruid Devyric, you have an easy source of Major Vulnerability now. Also with the changes to Empower in Update 35, it became useless in most trial groups unless everyone is heavy attacking. So Necros lost their demand as support role kings from earlier patches where you would always see them in off tank or healer roles. They are still great DDs but like it was mentioned in the video, their skill rotations are a bit harder than most other classes due to differing DoT timers. They are still a great class to play and one of the easiest classes to play support DD on Elemental Catalyst as they are the easiest source to all damage types.
Now in PvP, the issue is that their main source of burst damage is their blastbones and it is very hard to time it right in a fight due to the delay it has in firing off. Also, Necros lack a good crowd control skill for PvP. So you can PvP quite well on Necro but whatever Necro can do, some other class does it better. Only thing that Necro does better is tankiness and that also not by a huge amount. So necros feel like they are having a bit of an identity crisis right now. @@SkyrimBeast
@@CheeseTuber Many thanks for this highly thorough reply. It is a damned shame with what happened with Update 35. I noticed right away that what once took me X number of hits on an enemy took twice the amount after that update went live. It's like DPS got nerfed by 50% for everyone.
For the time being though, I'm gonna keep playing as a Necro. My toon's CP is something like 1700+. That doesn't happen overnight. Once I hit the CP cap of 3600 I think it is, I'll start all over again with another class.

Well, I wouldn't say your DPS was cut by 50% but yes, U35 did nerf the DPS (very very slightly though). I would say it affects the upper tier of players more than the vast majority of the player base. The main issue with U35 was the ham fisted way they made the changes to combat and pretty much devastated the end game scene of the game. I have countless friends who left at U35 and never returned and one of my guilds pretty much died with a whimper
But don't get me wrong. Necro cancer is not a bad class and still quite viable in all content in the game. Just that they don't have an area to shine in right now. @@SkyrimBeast

The thing is PvE totally depends on what you want to do. For trials yeah necro and warden aren't great (though necro does have a good use) but for just overland they are both solid. Hell put a bow in their hands overland and they are beasts.
Ummm.... for overland content everyone is a beast. Aside from World Bosses, you can unequip your character's weapon and punch your way through most of the story content.

Templar is c tier maybe b- in pvp (speaking as a main with thousands of hours pvp) you could put it A tier overall for pve as far and dps but as a tank its terrible. Dk is definetly higher in all content except for solo arena. Warden being c tier is not a take i agree with. It is A tier in pvp regardless of the predictability. Predictability comes with class knowledge. You could put it b tier or maybe c tier dps but they make A/S tier healers and tanks. Which would have them A tier overall for my rating at least. All other classes I think are in an accurate spot. Pvp is always difficult to rank because meta classes are different depending on the content. Dueling meta classes, are different from bgs. Bgs is different than open world. Even open world depends on if you are zerging, small group solo. Just my thoughts but good video and explanations even if we differ in opinion👍🏾
End game trial trifectas use arc and dk as non support dps. Dk are also top tier tanks. Dk have had op dps for a long long long time. All non support dps in end game trials were dk. Now at least we have arc and dk as dps.
This is almost *exactly* what I was looking for. Just wished you split stam and mag.

The big takeaway on magica/stamina toons is that there's a lot to be said for crossing that line, at least somewhat. Pure magica/pure stamina toons miss out on a lot. Arcanists actually are the key example here... I'm running a build where I stack fully into magica, but my primary spamable is the stamina flail, because it builds crux and heals while letting my magica get to max.
Another side here that I'm starting to play around with? Coral Riptide, which is a "stam" trial set? It's stupidly easy on my build to live at or bellow 30% stamina. In even moderately large trash fights that set will be up.

Maybe we could do Class %s. ( like from 0% to 100% most impactful and easily used ) so you take a Class and evaluate all class skills only. Evaluate what the class itself is locked into, what rolls it can do well. How easy it is to play and how it applies to PvP and pve.
So what you'd end up with for me, a Warden is extremely well in support it can tank and DPS or even heal. It's top end DPS isn't as strong as a DK in most cases ( depending on gear and expertise of playing ) the skills are pretty straightforward and easy to apply. I'd give Warden a strong 87% effective in the land of nirn.
Where Necro would land something like 41% dew to the lack of ease of use. You really need to build into one rold or another and the skills are clunky and hard to use.
Class percentage can very from patch to patch with buffs and changes to the class itself. And nothing could ever hit a full 100% because you would have to add race and sets with load outs to hit the full potential

Well, yeah, just as your breton is a stamsorc my main is a high elf templar and I play all roles. I do have dedicated minmax characters, but a lot of the time I play with my main toon. I have builds for a healer, DD, tank, solo and crafter/lazy heavy attack build.
Tier lists put high elf race and templar class at the bottom for a tank. I have still tanked DLC dungeon hard modes and veteran trials with it. And tanking is what I know the least about when it comes to different roles.
I know templar is not the best in anything -- used to be in solo but then came arcanist. But it truly is that every class can play every role and all content in this game.
If you want to minmax go for the S-tier race/class for each role, but otherwise pick whatever seems interesting to you.

Yeah pretty good list IMO. I also feel that the DK should be S tier as they are amazing at everything except healing tbh. I get why you put it in A tier tho. They are definitely not the easiest to start out with as dps rotation wise.

I've tried most of the classes in the game, but I always end up coming back to my Dragonknight. I haven't tried out Necromancer or Arcanist yet, because it will probably just be the same thing: I'll play the class for half an hour or so, then log out, log back onto my DK, and forget all about the new class. I mostly do overland PvE content, though. I only bother with PvP when there is some event going on, and I don't really care much for grouping up with other players to do dungeons, battlegrounds, or trials. Arenas? I'm not even 100% sure I know what those are.

@@Official_JakeClips okay, then I have actually completed Maelstrom Arena on normal mode. Mainly because Wrothgar is my favorite zone in the entire game and I wanted to complete everything in there. That was several hundred Champion points ago, however, so maybe it’s time to attempt it again on veteran mode.
if ur gonna give other classes shoutouts for being good for beginners, Warden is very simple and can def do all pve content at the start to mid-game np, for pvp the dual wield dot build & bowzerker build is atleast still good on eu but i get the refrence & critique
Deadly,Orders wrath, Velothi neck, Maelstrom staff, on Arcanist has felt like a heavy attack build on steriods. Its so easy and so much damage with no procs or mechanics to think about
have you given Nirn a shot in place of OW? Solid DPS improvement for me when I made that swap, before I started getting into trial gear.
@drackar if you're talking about dummy humping yeah pillar will get you a little more dps. But I don't do that I play the games content so orders wrath is easier to use and actually does way more damage since pillar won't hit everything in content

I liked your video, but you are ignoring the healing potential of the classes. Warden ranks very highly as a healing class and is often played both in PVE and PVP in this regard. Having played warden for many years, I agree the dps is not where is should be. I was able to clear vet Vateshran many times on my dps magicka arcanist, but couldn't clear the last fight on my warden. My necro toons are used when an ec crow is needed, or for some dungeons where the insta rez is handy such as vet HM Castle Thorn. So yes, I think you are mostly correct, but perhaps I would first ask my friend as we enjoy the campfire if he (or she) is more interested in playing pure dps or something more in the healing or support line.
I think if this list was off healing alone the warden would be in rank S on its own the gap between warden and other classes are unmatched for healing in PvE raid groups and PvP groups.
I haven't tried a arc healer yet, I wonder if it's decent! 🤔
The Arcanist is due for a nerf. I know zos is trying to stall as long as possible, but the class is fun and broken. The necro or warden Never had the toys/stats the Arcanist has. Templar should not be in the top tear cause the tank is clunky and resource management is a horror especially for a newer player. Plus they don't provide much to a group. As for easy play, before the oak ring I had a 1 skill Templar that used to roll through pve content; jabs and 5 fighter skills for the passives and trap beast. I like you the sorc was my 1st toon and still my main, and I agree where it landed for what you mentioned and the tank took a step back but the ult is group friendly but that's about it. I would love the DK to the top cause it's good all around solid MT or OT and solid group buffs and solo play. The rest I do agree, the necro dps is clunky for sure, but the OT role is amazing, but as you said not for a beginner.. To me the warden is a class that could have been amazing but fell flat. They showcase frost abilities but lack frost abilities. Everything else I agree.

I personally think Necromancer should be "A" tier. True, the corpse mechanic requires little set up, but I've seen Magicka Necros do amazing things. And I've seen Stamcros rock in PvP. But to each their own I suppose
Both cros are horrible in pvp. I speak frome experience.

@@a_green_snake6451 i mean i love necro and i main it but just because the class is playable doesnt mean its objectively good. All the classes are playable and have more depth in their gameplay, access to more buffs better sustain and damage + more useful class abilities (if you wanna go magcro you will only have 4 necro skills out of the 12). The only thing necro has over the others is its tankiness and even that isnt way above the rest.
Try playing a Necro and you'll understand why they suck..

Necromancer is dissapointing. They should have permanent summons in my opinion. The class feels wayyyyy too busy to play. Summoning blastbones every other cast is super lame.

I'm probably going to go for a Dunmer sorcerer for a second character. (Imperial DK tank is my main)
Means I can do mag or stam without race changes. Question: do i have to use pets as a sorcerer? I tend not to be a fan of pet builds in games.
Eased of access and what you want for your toon. Isn't Race or even Class. A tier list is hard to show. Because there is 6 rolls in ESO. When most will say oh there are only 3 rolls. When infants there is 6. ( Tank, Healer, DPS - and three sub Rolls Solo, Support, and PvP )
When I think of tier lists we should look ONLY at the Class SKILLs. Where we use them and how easy is the use. I would drop Necro to C tier or even D. Where Warden from many ways would be easily an A. Templars can't Tank unless you set it up in tormenter and rushing sets. Like a werewolf tank. So listing is very hard to rank.
There is also classes locked into only using tools like the Warden is much stronger with an ice staff. And sorcs have to use the pets. Necro is just bad at everything.
All classes can do anything but it is how you build them so. Just my thoughts😊
I really miss the days of savage werewolf bowsorcing... not cuz i liked the build it was cancerous and deserved to be nerfed. I just miss when sorcs were best at something
Sorcs are by far the best and easiest solo class due to heavy attack lightning builds...they have an ultimate that can area attack 100k for 25 ultimate meaning it can be channeled for 20 seconds at 100k per second.
@orclover2353 ok I'll put it this way, by best at something I mean best and also not needing to turn half of your brain off. I'm sorry but I just don't find heavy attack builds fun at all they're boring. Props for accessibility but to me HA sorcs are essentially their own class they just play way too differently and incredibly hands off. Templars are better and more fun for solo imo
@@vossboss220 Templars are cool but they literally have one skill that can solo veteran content, at least a HA attack build needs to use off-balance and proc heavy attack sets. Complex classes are fun to learn but make a lot of content inaccessible without a huge investment of time and then they can be nerfed once enough players learn to exploit them, ie Sorc, overload pvp bombs. HA are not hands off if you are soloing veteran content...without oakensoul you have to use empower skill every 10 seconds, your need a heal, a shield, minor force skill, and a skill to drop resistances. You basically use the same build as crystal shards accept you count has, proc off-balanced, and can still throw crystal shards in there.
@orclover2353 magplars are one dimensional only really needing 3 skills and but still more engaging imo, stamplars tho are different and literally can't play like magplars
I cant speak for pvp but in pve id put arc above all. Easily. Then everyone else in A tier except wardens in B tier since u only need ONE for only healing and same for cro actually. Then probably nightblade in c tier since u dont need them at all in raid now.

Nightblade is meta for healing in trials.
@@Mastealth not anymore. Last two patches theyve been replaced with an arc support. Usually healer. Only one sorc needed for crit buff and berserk.
I’m assuming you were being sarcastic when you say “everytime the most broken thing comes to the game it’s “never” on the sorcerer because can I just confirm that pretty much everyone plays the heavy attack brokensoul build on a sorc.. even after multiple nerfs it’s still broken?
I will give sorcs that they do get good heavy attack builds ! But they have a slight stigma like pet builds

Have you played pvp? Magden is S to A tier. on Xbox na like 25% of people are magden.

Your thumbnail should have been all in F tier. I Started with a templar as my first. I would not rate trmplar S and I would have warden higher. But im rating them as to the amount of fun I've had on the classes, it will always be subjective.Ive also given my dk way to little time. I gave it some love recently and its been a blast.

In most things my taste is very different to what is considered normal. With that in mind this is my order of preference.
1. Warden
2. Templar
3. Necromancer
4. Sorcerer
5. Nightblade
6. Dragonknight
7, Arcanist
I mostly play solo PVE, not that that really makes much difference, I doubt most people would put them in this order whatever way they play. Also, whilst this is my overall preference, there are many situations where I would go to the sorcerer first or another class, so it really depends what I want to do. My most played classes are actually Nightblade and Dragonknight, so my preferences obviously change from time to time, in fact the character that I think of as my main seems to change roughly every six months.
is this a pve list? Warden is super overpowered and is definitely S tier for pvp you just need to set it up right

I find, over years of new classes dropping and being nerfed. Learn the basics find a cool set and get good. Ok dps some sustain and armah. Or go glass cannon accept your fate and melt- ive lost my need to be alive im stacking everything

It’s odd but I look at it like a grade in school, you may never get an F or D but they could occur if things go poorly

@@Official_JakeClips Not the original poster and not really sure about putting them in a tier list videos but I do find time stamps quite useful in most videos when you want to jump to a specific topic that the youtube is covering. Personally I use time stamps when I need to backtrack to a topic but your videos are usually short enough that I don't need it.

Unfortunately CZcamsrs don’t control ads - one time I got the entire Lego movie as an ad - and even if we disable monetization CZcams will still put random ads on video
No matter what class comes out. I can't get away from my DK. Specially as a main tank.
