    3:16 in case if any of you guys are wondering why the water was red during this experiment is because the molten copper, when it hit the water it turned back into the iron type material which causes liquid to be red, it’s the same reason why your blood is red, from iron.

    • @carthag1574
      @carthag1574 Před 2 lety +4

      No, it come from small copper flakes, which probably came from the "explosion", and copper oxide are not red.

      Copper is an element and so is Iron. Chemical reactions do not change elements from one kind into another. Also copper oxide is green not red (hence the color of the Statue of Liberty)

    • @Patrik6920
      @Patrik6920 Před rokem +1

      ..well actually no, the two primary copper oxides is Cu2-O and Cu-O (where Cu2-O forms naturally in air and is indeed green, Cu-O is RED, copper also forms other compound oxides with Ammoniiak (can be contained in vulcanic rock) [Cu(NH3)2] (pos ion is colourless and whwne exposed to Oxygen forms [Cu(NH3)4(H2O)2]2+ Oxide ion coplex that is dark blue.. (acids will also form this complex of copper oxide and therfore green-blue tinted old rooftops is a sign of this acidius reaction (air pollution), possibly other copper-oxide complex exists naturally that im not aware of...
      the exploding water... the lave contained ammoniak (or any other compination of chemicals that formed an acid in water), the water was superheated over its boiling point in pockets, the Copper formed CuO and possibly [Cu(NH3)4(H2O)2]2+, releasing pure hydrogen wich ignited (it to was oxidized, releasing even more Hydrogen)...and boom...a pressure wave...

Molten iron have a far higher temperature and with the same quantity he had, you would surely not destroy your garden... unless you throw it on dry weed, but a match stick could do the trick so, no unless the quantity is there a small quantity of lava would not destroy his garden.

      A so tiny flow of lava will cool down quick as you see with the water heating quite slow. When he poured the molten copper it released its heat very quickly to the water which was still hot from the previous experiment maybe. And it seems like it vaporized large quantities of water internally causing it too basically explode (the high pressure vapor trapped inside the liquid water tries to find its way out)

    • @francisconti9085
      @francisconti9085 Před rokem +1

      Lava can be molten taffy like when cooler, or very thin when near boiling..all depends upon the temperature saturation, how much lava is shock shrinking the shell and if it is "chewey" and holds together or the shell shrinks & breaks, leaving LIQUID to pop out like a squeezed egg, just to have continued explosion occurring as fresh liquid rock hits water, 💥🔄💥
      Tough stringey lava doesn't break up like liquid lava, so it heats like a hot rock rather than explosively..slow steam ..
      Volcanic (fresh) lava still has lots of gas dissolved in it, it actually "glides" on the gas coming out and super heated gasses released by what it flows over..
      When fresh hotter lava breaks out of the cooling shell, and keeps flowing, it is really relaxing to watch. But that is a LOT of heat!!

    4:37 its called copper. It’s used in pennys and in the periodic table. It’s atomic number is 29
    If you want to make it again here’s some few chemical reactions involving copper.
    here are four chemical reactions involving copper:
    1. **Copper Oxide Reduction**:
    \( \text{CuO} + \text{H}_2
    ightarrow \text{Cu} + \text{H}_2\text{O} \)
    In this reaction, copper oxide reacts with hydrogen gas to produce copper and water.
    2. **Copper Sulfide Roasting**:
    \( \text{2CuS} + \text{3O}_2
    ightarrow \text{2CuO} + \text{2SO}_2 \)
    Copper sulfide is heated in the presence of oxygen to produce copper oxide and sulfur dioxide.
    3. **Copper Carbonate Decomposition**:
    \( \text{CuCO}_3
    ightarrow \text{CuO} + \text{CO}_2 \)
    Copper carbonate decomposes upon heating to produce copper oxide and carbon dioxide.
    4. **Copper Nitrate Decomposition**:
    \( \text{2Cu(NO}_3\text{)}_2
    ightarrow \text{2CuO} + \text{4NO}_2 + \text{O}_2 \)
    Copper(II) nitrate decomposes upon heating to produce copper oxide, nitrogen dioxide, and oxygen.

      They don’t. They use volcanic rock (that’s a guess, maybe some other form of rock) and melt it back down at extreme temperatures. So in essence, it’s from a volcano, it’s lava, but it’s solidified into rock form and then has been melted back down into magma/ lava.
