    Get some cammermile tea leaves and shove a load in your pockets, every time I'm bit by the flies I get an allergic reaction and go into anaphylactic shock and swell up like a balloon and can die.
    I shove a load of this in my pockets and touch wood even in the highlands of Scotland I don't get bitten.
    Best thing to do is look at the ingredients of what supposed to disperse them and test the individual components and then make your own because all of the company's that sell the spray water them down to meet overhead costs.
    Cammermile and teetree oils.
    Great video.

    In SE Michigan near me, pike are a bit harder to come by. I caught my first 3 pike in the same hour a few days ago. I fish for sharks several times a year and to be honest, the pike was more difficult to handle. I really struggled to get the hooks out. It all ended up fine with the pike released, but would you ever consider a video showing the best ways to handle/ unhook pike? I have followed this channel for a long time now, and love watching it grow. Tight lines bro!

    You have a suspending stick bait, and a floater laying in front of you-- same pattern.
    Which one gets tied on?
    I'm not confident in my stick bait game. I never feel like I'm in the right rhythm or if I'm dragging it to far...
    My default is a spinner, but it makes perfect sense when you explain why the stickbait is stronger at the last few cranks.

    • @peelindrag113
      @peelindrag113  Před 6 lety +2

      I always use suspending unless I'm in really shallow/snaggy areas. I typically just do two short snaps or jerks of the rod then let it sit for second. If you can keep an eye on the lure while your doing that, it helps a lot to see how your movements cause the lure to move. Good luck!

      45 Fishing pike tend to sit in slack water areas, many times right up against the bank. They are ambush hunters and wait for baitfish and crawdads to get carried past in the current.

    Aerosol bug repellent doesn't work for $#!T try stuff called "Pyranha fly spray" or any horse fly spray. (Pyranha is the least smelly though) It has a strong smell but works AMAZING just wear some old work clothes and spray a little bit on them. It's not great for your skin either so be careful.
    just use a little and mosquitoes, flies, ticks, anything won't even want to go near you.
    try it out, the effectiveness FAR outweighs the cons. LOL i don't even use that oily can spray stuff anymore.
