How did you ever know to do this!? It is fascinating. I never knew a leaf could be used like this to make new plants. I remember my mom starting new geranium plants by sticking a branch in the ground, and an african violet stem growing roots after the bottom of the stem was placed in water, but this is so different!!
Thank you so very much. Think I have been killing mine by overwatering. Thanks
Does this kind of propagation apply to primrose plant? So interesting to learn everything from your channel . Thank you
I don't know - never heard it used for primrose - which is a different genus and species.
Wish I could have some of those unwanted leaves or babies! I've never seen them for sale in my state despite how easy they seem to prop!
Excellent information. Is there a time of year that is better to make cuttings for new plants?
Probably in nature or if grown outside, but indoors - there is no real season. Seems to work any time I try it.
How many months does it take to basically fit in a 4" or 6" pot? Like, ½ the size i guess of the plant you cut the leaf from?
