    Did you have to get a visa to move there? I’m definitely planning my move !!

      I’m still on a tourist visa at the moment! They grant 6 months at a time

      Do it before Mexico starts requiring visas which may be soon as Mexicos economy is thriving and illegal immigration is actually bigger here than in the US.your passport gets you 6 months here as a tourist and you can do a tourist run by leaving the country and just coming back in.

    Good luck here!! Mexico city is cold/fresh and humid this time of the year, sometimes we get temperatures such as 0°C/32F at nights, but prepare yourself from mid March to mid-April we get the hottest temperatures of the year, 28°C-32°C (82F-80F), and is really dry, so get ready, and welcome!

    Any areas you'd recommend living?
    Of course Roma Norte / Condensa is popular with foriegners but any others where it's a good vibe?

      I think Roma Norte and Condesa were really touristy, and personally it was nice to get acclimated but definitely was not authentic, polanco is a nicer higher end neighborhood though and less touristy. i’m sure there are others but in my short trip those were my thoughts

      @@adventureswithwonu4467 I actually have my eyes set on Polanco/surroundings. It seems I can get a real nice apartment (with gym pool etc) that are same price as ones in Roma/Condesa that aren't as nice but clearly cause the area is so popular.

    May I ask why you don't take public transit? The bus or train?

    • @Tolu.Travels
      @Tolu.Travels  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I think it’s just been more of a convenience thing! I prefer to either walk or take an Uber but I’m also working on figuring out the transport system! It’s not as easy to navigate for me but I’m learning 😌

    Tolu, go outside Mexico City, it's a different vibe than from a big city. More relaxed and some say more authentic, Mexico City has becomed Americanized!😂😂😂tacos taste better at street corners, a little tastier than the restaurants.
