Trump is saying buck up. Hold up your part of the bargain. And I totally agree. 🏴
How about u agreeing with trump for encouraging Russia to attack US allies just because of money?
No he’s sucking up to daddy vlady and he’s a disgrace.
The NATO Alliance is more then about money, it is a deeply held and cherished Principle...you'd basically call the US military nothing more then mercenaries
The funniest joke in this whole segment is when an american referred to europeans as "deadbeats". 😂
Thing is Trump makes it sound like member countries are paying US a fee or something, which is not the case... that has nothing to do with how the alliance works, nobody needs to pay nobody directly anything, there are defense budget targets sure... and many countries already increased those after this Ukraine invasion, so this Mafioso Boss , though guy number he is doing... is a bit too melodramatic, I would say focus on the indictments dude and leave the hardcore geopolitical BS for after, just an idea.
As a Brit I agree. We scrape our 2%, but to be fair their is no point in us having armed forces as we are letting all our enemies into our country via our borders. As for the French and Germans well they have been doing the same to the US as they do to us Brits, take your money and criticise you.
@@MarcelWave-yp2ld Yes I voted for it, but I fail to see what that has do do with this subject. You may be interested to learn that there are now majorities for exit in both Germany and France, but obviously their governments wont allow for a democratic vote on it. @@chapers04EU is not failed project. Free trade across EU bordrers is not ending anytime soon. Reality is Russians want to be EU, and Russia will be in EU in a few years. Only essential change is stripping power from commissions and beurocrats, and keeping it within the hands of local goverments. Defederalization, from many one. Both US and EU must stay on that course, while yes. Keeping NATO strong, as a form of detturance. And we are in a same boat. All Russia, US, EU have problems down south. Strong north means prosperous world. Weak north may spill to ugly things.

Hi Putin.
Only 10 NATO countries of 30 pay the required minimum amount. This is why the U.S. needs to get out of NATO.
It's not a fee. It's an agreed, VOLUNTARY percentage of GDP that's supposed to go to their own military.
You can't get rid of NATO when you are only a partner of NATO you silly people .
@@BigDsGaming2022
NATO should be abolished ….it was only in place to protect against the Soviet Union to begin with
@@BigDsGaming2022
We can withdraw from NATO then the European countries would have to put in their fair share. We should also withdraw from the UN.
Excellent point but doing so would put the US into depression for the simple reason that these alliances power our second largest industry behind Health Care . The manufacture and sale of weapons and ammo for warfare . Our US MIC would collapse and thousands of factories would close . We make war for profit and breaking those alliances would end our sales of war material to our allies . @@Gww-1

Other countries turn up when asked and on time, they don’t wait until they themselves get attacked or until they think they can make a profit. Poland contributes more to NATO (percentage of GDP) than the US.
There was no commitment to join WW2, no NATO or even international law then, so that’s irrelevant. Meet your 2% & if your country doesn’t frequently or for years…that country should be dismissed from NATO. The US homeland and its citizens have been completely neglected since WW2 and the US politicians need to fix it or the future is very uncertain. Poland only recently pays more percentage than US, but not until recently…and the dollar amount given by the USA vs Poland is a huge difference. The USA gives to countries all over the world & neglects its own & it needs to stop. Most in the US had nothing to do with choosing this post-WW2 order and it’s time to rethink it all.
Where to begin? First of all, in regards to WW2, we had no obligation to intervene in YET ANOTHER European war. Secondly, read up on the Lend-Lease Act.
