Great video. I fish this lake regularly and you hit all the good spots, although I've never tried so close to the dam before. Nice haul. I see people getting skunked all the time here - it's a difficult lake to get right, and people often leave with the impression that there are no fish. But it has some lovely bass in the lower stretches, and some HUGE rainbows up above the bridge towards the prison. Very tranquil lake on week days - sucks on weekends - and it's right on my doorstep. Keep Natoma secret!

@@TheFreyExperience If you're ever going after rainbows up past the bridge, I've mostly caught them fly-fishing from the big boulders. They aren't interested in baits, but they'll surface for flies. Those are some well-fed trout though - they look like footballs and they mostly ignore your lures. Caught a big rainbow up there with a spinner once too. It's a nice spot. Have fun!

Good catches man wish I could hook at least one lol. Yes tough lake. I was out a few weeks ago on kayak trying frog, Ned rig, plooper, drop shot and had no luck.

I grew up fishing off the bank at Willow Creek where you caught that 5 and have hooked a ton of quality bass there. The little lake got saturated with fisherman and carp quite a few years ago and I've never gone back after a whole summer of poor fishing not to mention I've got a bass boat now. I've got a buddy that fishes there in a yak and got a 9.1lb'er out of there about 3 weeks ago so there are big bass there. Maybe I'll go drop the boat in since I got a year round truck/boat pass for Folsom and give it another shot.

I haven’t tried crappie fishing there. I’ve been trying to find one my self to make a video. I have been catching 80-100 panfish on the delta. I’ve posted a video about that. I only found the pan fish because I failed to locate crappie. But I do plan on trying to find crappie here shortly
