In case no one gets it in any way, I think what Butters said is a microaggression because it implies healers are always completely useless for physical combat, further implying they're all weak

Why would the universe explode because of that ? While yes, the New Kid took a selfie with a younger version of himself, the young isn't the New Kid's past self, since the past self of the original New Kid (the one we play as), except the parents never told the truth, that led to the ONK's problem with believing, which becomes his "inability" to believe in himself, leading to the random jumps in time. The truth revealed to ONK as well as the young New Kid will lead the first to finally believe in himself, while the second will never lose his belief.

Everyone's strength is basically just limited to their imagination and what they'll allow with 'rules'. In the Stick of Truth, the player at his top level is basically equal to the Fractured player, because they're considered the top of their imagination's limits. Do you really think Kyle can fly into the stratosphere and fire satellite lasers normally? It's also why Cousin Kyle can do things like just 'didn't count' even though he obviously can't bend reality.

In addition to what the other commenters have said here, I love the slight 4th-wall break lines the kids make while they're fighting like how Craig says "so they finally talked us into playing superheroes, huh" and "I finally got to play the Stick of Truth" by Wendy 😂
fact: the pattern in this boss fight applies to to the stick of truth mechanics which means we can move whatever we want while they only move in a straight line

Didn't realize that despite replaying the two games like a hundred times.
I remember going back in time and when I saw the king I thought oh hey this is gonna be easy he’s only got like 75 health from what a remember. Then I saw the 3000 health and I was like “oh shit”

I love how when the New Kid suddenly appears next to his past self, the past new kid just stares at him blankly, but in his mind has so many questions instantly.
This has to literally be one of the best scenes from the game,the fact that you literally go back to fight yourself from the first game and have one of your partners be the backstory version of you is just plain

I love how they put 3 games in 1, stick of truth, phone destroyer and rear in danger, making the fractured but whole, they're a masters not just for making jokes.
Pretty sure Phone Destroyer came after this game, implying that Call Girl's attack was actually Ubisoft's way to make a teaser for it

admit it, though, that was actually the paradigm of party encounters. Butters heals as paladin, clyde shields as warrior, craig with his stunt doubles to be bodies, Kyle as an OP af elf who can buff+AOE, plus the king, who also does AOE, just with more splendor.

What I like about the battle is that you're facing yourself who's already at a high level in stick of truth while YOU in TFBW is still progressing through the game.
You are fighting yourself from a time line. With help of yourself from a 3rd different time line.

Being an Elementalist / Plantmancer is a LIFESAVER in this battle. The Chill effect given by Ice Prison, plus the Plantmancer's healing Ultimate?

Honestly, elementalist + plantmancer + necromancer are probably the best classes suited for this boss fight.
@@doomer3257 I totally agree! Necromancer is a pretty good class, but I was stuck with Elementalist + Plantmancer since I couldn't afford the DLC
Now combine it with a sweet scent on Clyde when he appears and you just win
They even added that epic battle music!
The battle music from the first game is really cool
i love everything about this, they somehow fit references from every south park game into this one battle, even phone destroyer
It would've been awesome that when you get to that part and you had a save from the end of stick of truth , your king would look like your old character!

Why the heck is Clyde back with the humans in Kupa Keep? Didn't Cartman banish him from space, and time, causing him to become your main foe, for a while, until Kenny betrays you?

Man everyone in this game really knows how to break the fourth wall and beat the hell out of each other
Oh my goodness. This one is a 5 phase long skirmish. First, the king alone attacks. He doesn't last long enough here but the danger ramps up HUGELY with warrior Eric. Each attack from him is deadly. He doesn't last long so soon after, Craig enters the fight. He can create clones of himself and tries to win with numbers. After that rush you fight Tank Eric. His attack isn't too high but it combined with his immense Defence is enough to be an issue. The finale of the fight is an all out all in barrage. You not only have Palalin Butters to be concerned about (he heals the other rival team members), you have to put up with the Warrior, the rouge, the tank, AND the King all at the same time. All of them have unique stats but the King is the most dangerous. Coincidentally, he's also who you need to get rid of to finish the mission.
