The last thing he said in this video is what is wrong with cod. He said for the last few years the hardcore fans haven’t been happy and the problem is the hardcore fans still buy it and play it every day week and month. They don’t have to cater to us we play anyway we might whine about it but we still play it.

And haven’t bought a cod since bo4 I either game share or don’t play.
These last two games were not good at all. I pkayed for 15 years and blackout was the only br they made so far that was consistent enough to take seriously. They are incomplete games on release and almost finished by their death date. But along the way you get look "kool" with Nikki Minaj or neymar because that makes total sense.
If every hardcore/serious player quit, the studio still wouldn't change anything because those players are the minority of the money coming in.

I agree with most of what he said. But I do think the game should be somewhat aimed towards casual players. Not much the removal of ninja and the red dot. But I think camping should be catered to if people want to play that way and their should be some kind of SBMM albeit nowhere near as strict as it is now.
I say that as a casual player myself.(but also a diehard fan) I work for a living. I don't have the time or money to devote all my time to CoD and spend 100's on gaming monitors, custom controllers etc.

@@timmypowers5926 Can't say I've ever had a problem with ping to be honest. Got a decent internet provider and speed and my connection to the ps is wired. Don't mind SBMM do much myself, I'm actually in favour of it. I can get behind the idea of a less strict one but no SBMM at all no thanks. I played on my brother's account a few month back. He's got a KD of 2.11 mine is 1.38. It was aweful. I mean my lobbies are full of try harder and sweats but I'm good enough to handle them. But the ones in his lobby. To good for me. Fuck that for a laugh. I don't need that need of hassle 2am on a Saturday morning half way through a bottle of rum🤣🤣🤣

Ever since SBMM was instituted, COD has made it clear they don't care.
SBMM isn't the real issue, never has been. It's been around for years, it's exists in most games and will continue to be around. SBMM is just something people talk about because they're quoting their favourite CZcamsr. They don't realise that SBMM is actually protecting them.
You think your lobby is sweaty now? Wait until you've got people with twice your kd in there. You'll be praying for SBMM to come back😂😂😂

It is a huge problem in cod but not the only problem

True if you play better people you will improve. With in reason. The likes of me and you will never be good enough no matter what we do to go pro.
But make the argument for better players playing against worst players. What benefit does that have for better players. Surely logic dictates that if by playing better players you improve by playing worse players you regress?
Why should better players get rewarded with easier games? As I previously asked what is the possible upside of that for them. More over why should worse players be punished for being bad. No one is bad on purpose. And like with everything in life. How good someone is or isn't is largely due to luck and natural talent. Otherwise we'd all be professional athletes, actors and singers etc.
Many competitive sports ( which is what CoD essential is) operate on a SBMM system. Athletes are matched and played against players of a similar skill level.
SBMM isn't perfect. It's far to strict in its current iteration but it is needed. There's something fundamentally wrong with a concept where the worse you are the harder your games and the better you are the easier they are.
Games will not be any less sweaty without SBMM. If anything for the vast majority of people they'll be the same or worse as they play people their own skill and people better. The best players in the world aren't going to be any less sweaty because they're playing lesser skilled players. They'll be just as sweaty🤣🤣🤣

@@sinz1875 yea the rigged side of it all lol and i play both inputs. warzone 1 had broken aim assist but with the ttk and the movement u could break aim assist and compete at fairer level. only up close is aim assist really unfair. this game it should be called aim correction tho. the game is rigged really low level players kill me more consistently with outrageous aim assist that the game does for them . low level too me is below 100 . im level 1050 can drop 20 + kill games im no bot or casual lol. this is in fact the most inconsistent cod i have ever played and i have played since cod 4 lol.

You kidding? Just to get certain attachments, you have to level up different guns. You have to level up one gun, to unlock another gun. It’s a mess. And then the tuning makes stuff more complicated. Some of this stuff isn’t even for casuals

Almost every cod leading up to Black Ops 2 was a golden era of great cod titles, after that you really start to feel the drop

they made the gameplay more suited for casuals but made the attachments for grinders. I think its a huge reason why you see these prolonged metas like the Cronen/MP5. If they change the meta, the casuals complain because they can't get the right attachments or keep up with all the changes.
If they would take away the extra 50 hp it would fix the prolonged meta problem. But then the sweats would complain that they die too fast and cant run around like a re re without dying

Honestly, what does it matter. Everyone who is complaining, about the current CoD, will all be buying the next game on day #1.
They (iw) were thinking about wz/dmz f2p players. By making attachments harder to get and locked behind multiple weapons, they "motivate" them into buying the full game instead needing just to do some helicopter contracts for one/few guns
As a consumer, when does it become insanity after buying this game every time a new one drops, expecting different results but getting the same or worse results/product?
Enoughs enough, I'm the same but after hearing mw2 was a 2 year cycle an when I brought the game it was still incomplete after a month off still being out (still not completed now) I won't be touching another call of duty again until I'm confident it's fully back. xdefiant out soon and it's free

Counters. Everything in the good call of duties had a counter.
Dead silence - awareness.
Juggernaught - doubletap
Grenades- flack jacket
Flak jacket- shit i forget the perks name but its more explosive damage against flack jacket
Skill gaps
People camp- learn to breach.
Snipers one shot you- move cover better.
Get pre sprayed coming around corners- duck walk(sneak or crouch walk)
This is also why the whole call of duty IP was split up between three different developing companies. Wants to try different things and see what works and see what doesn't

The wildest thing is call of duty has always been casual, why make it even MORE causal? Only ones you can argue that was competitive was advanced warfare, infinite warfare and bo3 which I enjoyed for my own reasons as there was less camping and less hiding. It just makes no sense to make call of duty easier when it's already easy to learn

It is "casual players" who have stopped playing COD. The hardcore players still play, the casual base have long since left.
I miss Warzone 1 and slide canceling. The original broken armor sound was iconic as well

What annoys me is that they always decide to listen towards the end of its life cycle, for example everyone complained about the TTK since launch but they only decided to change it a season before the last, it just makes no sense

I'm a casual player but big fan. Been playing since CoD 4. I work for a living, have bills to pay and mouths to feed. I don't have time to be devoting to CoD. I might get 10-15hours in on an average week. And I certainly don't have the money to be buying £400 headsets, £5000 gaming rigs, gfuel subscriptions etc

I am 44 have played COD since the beginning. Work a full time job, have kids, etc. I play more than a casual when I have the time to do it. But this game has changed so much the past 5-6 years to mostly tailor to brand new players and it’s completely fucked the franchise up and for Activision to just say fuck the community who mostly plays their game and to take everything from COD that we love is just a tragedy.

It only sold as well as it did because it was using the MW2 name and people's nostalgia of it to trick them into buying it thinking it would be better than MW2019.
I'm a casual player, and I miss the old cods. Come home from work play with friends and go to bed. That's it and I don't think mw2 now is casual. The skill based match making is terrible. I don't want to play with sweats who think it's the CDL I want to play for fun with friends and many of my friends don't play anymore because this game caters the streamers and high profile players
I agree with this. I don’t think they really cater to casuals as much as they cater to streamers. I mean they’ve been allowing people to cheat for years now. And we all know many streamers who cheat it’s obvious. Not to mention giving them that instant ban button. Cod is dead imo.

I think the biggest complaint from everyone is SBMM. The skill gap has gotten so wide. As a casual player, I wouldn’t support the game if there wasn’t a way that I could be competitive with the hour to two hours I may get to play a week. Unfortunately most of the people that complain don’t realize that without the casual people like me to buy the game, they couldn’t turn out a product with only the support of the top 1%. The ROI would be awful. You have to strike a balance between the two.
The biggest issue they ever made was making it crossplay.

I’m a call of duty diehard since 2008. Played every single call of duty since cod4. MW19 definitely had its issues but it was the best cod in the last 5 years.
I guarantee if they get rid of Joe Cecot, IW will be a better studio.. We literally saw this with Sledgehammer. They got rid of Michael Condrey and SHG updated and fixed WW2 to make it a better game. I put all the blame on Cecot, fire that man.
As long as they listen to the real hardcore players and not just influencers who skip through games. Nadeshot is a legacy gamer so his opinion is on point with it.
He is 100% right, I was a hardcore sweat warzone player, after caldera I was already out pretty much and started playing apex and have spent hundreds of dollars in that game cause it was everything I wanted, the going away from competitive players started on caldera where I think warzone 2 was the game they actually wanted to make from the start and the original warzone was just a happy accident that they hated for why it was popular. When they showed the gameplay for warzone 2 I literally couldn't believe they did that, they literally took away every reason why people loved warzone to begin with and I resent them so much for it lol. On top of that it has so many problems, constant frame issues, it's insane to think of the popularity warzone 1 was at, at that time could never imagine they would tarnish its legacy so hard like they have.

i mean if you really think about it, it's not really that surprising. back in old MW2 by infinityward they never released the patch that would fix all the broken shit and still to this day never got fixed.. and then you look at Sledgehammer Gaming and on the WW2 game, way into the lifecycle of the game, they were still fixing bugs, updating mechanics that the player base actually asked for.. so its not that crazy if u really think about it

Yea the casual -> sweaty transition is a huge piece that IW completely dropped the ball on. I sucked when warzone dropped. I hadn't played a competitive shooter in almost a decade. Fast forward a year and I'm slide cancelling and practicing my b hops in bot lobbies to warmup on a "pro" controller with back buttons and upgrading my console to a gaming PC. 0.80 k/d -> 1.16 by the time the game ended and that's all on the same account since day 1 of Warzone, so that took a long time. Not flexing by any means, that's just the transition I made from bad to kind of good sometimes, if I've taken enough caffeine. And I think most of the middle aged dad crowd IW thought they were making this game for had a similar experience, even if they weren't practicing b hops, they were getting better in their own way just by playing the game over time. IW made all that worthless.
Also the blog post where they were like “MWIII has been a premium release.. our plan for yearly premium releases.. premium this.. premium that…” They literally just said “TF you mean it was supposed to be a year two DLC? Idiot. You’re paying full price every yeah wether you like it or not”
Easy. A toggle for pro and casual. Pro has all movement and isn't SBMM driven. Casual removes movement and you can toggle SBMM within this selected option.
Sadly, the numbers show iw said f*ck you and a bunch of casuals still bought bundles.

The first warzone had many out play opportunities if you learned how to move and be able to stay centered while sliding etc. I already was able to play tactical but didn't have the gun skill. Anyone can be good at warzone two if you camp and just play angles all game. Aim assist is broken. In this one you don't really need to strafe or move your left stick as long as you're aiming down sights that aim assist slow down and drag especially on peolle just moving left or right is ridiculous. Literally legal aimbot. This game rewards one playstyle. I dont really get your comment to mine.

I actually don't think this is the case, warzone 2 has had basically no awesome skins and shit to buy in game, when new stuff would come for warzone 1 it was like wow look at this, I have to get the reactive camo, I guarantee warzone 2 and mw2 made drastically less money than expected cause it is more than just buying the game now it's about the in game sales
Why are there always the two extremes of 'casual' and 'die hard'?. Most players that retain engagement for an extended period of time but are not 'die hard' are the majority. They want to engage with the mechanics that have a enjoyable skill curve that can be earned. The 'casuals' they pander to wont last a couple months max no matter how hard they cater.

the casuals just get home from work, play a few hours then log off.. The casual player base has always dwarfed the competitive players in numbers and the casuals are also the ones that spend the money on the bundles. As a busines you cannot blame them for catering to them.
COD is a casual game.. there is nothing competitive about it and there never really has been.
There's a fine line between skill gap and unfair advantage take Apex legends, it's not a casual game and then take what's a fortnight very casual and unfair advantages that any can win and then you have modern warfare where there's a lack thereof core mechanics and game UI and balance that it's very frustrating damn developers need a wake-up and quit trying to balance between competitive and casual and spend a couple years making a game good before releasing it
if I was a casual. and if I would get one shot downed by any sniper from any distance. I would be fine with that. cause I could do the same thing. and wow, how fun would that be if I got an insane shot.
