Looking back at Fursuits of the early 2000's really fits the cursed vintage vibes, but man fursuits of today and their various designs look so damn cool. Love em or hate em, The amount of time and craftsmanship that goes into making them is nothing to sneeze at. That level of talent and passion is really commendable. Fursuit makers out here building whole Protogens with interactive digital face visors with coded responses. That shit is badass.

@@randomguy128 Those are pretty aggressive examples. I mean of course a bullet will pierce a fursuit, it’s not a military grade armored battle suit, it’s a fursuit. While yes that may be true, I don’t think most people are going to conventions thinking they need to wear a fursuit made out of kevlar or visors strong enough to resist the impact of a hammer. You’re just there to cosplay and have fun, not fight off a gang.

That guy is filthy rich now. The cheapest professionally made fursuit starts at around $2,500, and that's just for the basics. Some have fans installed in the ears to keep the wearer cool and some have lights, etc. etc.

If you wish to educate yourself on the individual there are plenty of videos out but do it at you own risk, that goes for literally anything that goes with a serious crime in it.
As a furry myself i didn't even know this fact, so its nice to know as in a few years I'm thinking of getting a fursuit (even though its optional) and knowing this fursuit maker has opened the number of makers i could soon commission from :3
A few other good makers around that time included Mixed Candy, Arend studios and DHC (yes that one). Current makers stand on the shoulders of giants, the designs change but the tools and techniques are still the same.

It's truly amazing how the fandom has evolved over the years. And not to say all early 2000s suits were ugly, some were pretty good for the time but... Yeah a lot were pretty dreadful, with all respect to the suiters. Nowadays there are countless suits that are really something to admire
Man, the urge to buy foam, synthetic fur, thread, and sewing needles and use all these materials to make a complete fur suit even though i would have no idea how to do it, IS KILLING ME-
I got experimental with my last fursuit build. Since my sona is a skulldog i had to make the head in a special way. I scaled the base of the head down so its more proportionately close to reality. I made it mostly out of eva foam with big holes under thw fabric, making it a very lightweight, comfortable, and breathable head. Perfect for cons and meetups
Watching this video as a long-time fandom member and seeing Growly in the crowd was a jumpscare and a half omg 😭
