I was there then too, July 1991-Jan 1992 on FSC Squadron, which was 'A' Squadron 13th/18th Royal Hussars then. My troop did the DANCON sector around November/December I think.

Where is the side bin and more important. Where is the Armament? Pointless having a Ferret Armoured Car with no Armament. May as well use Landrover!

@@Mazon99 I did 3 tours of Cyprus with the UN first one in 1980 and we had Ferrets with .30 machine guns, second the same. Then they went to GPMG. The large tool bin and the Spare wheel fittings were there to house the escape hatches. One either side.
We also had Fox in N/Ireland and UK. Useless piece of junk! Fast yes, crew sustainability: Not a hope.
