I like the walking around Old Town condos intro haha. I lived in Buckeye a few years. Sad they never built some NightLife😢 but the PEACE & Quiet were Fabulous!
Yeah love how quiet and peaceful it is there! They have actually be building a ton including some cool new apartments and condos there and some cool night life might not be far behind haha
@@LIVING_IN_ARIZONA haha. I LOVE how honest you are lol. Btw- all the songs posted on this lil channel were recorded at my Home Studio in Buckeye! Who woulda ever thought right? 😛
@@canyonproductions7683 haha thanks so much! If people are thinking of making a move to a new city I figure they deserve the honest facts about it right? 😂 No way, that's awesome! Small world lol
I live in Buckeye Arizona, in the Westpark Community. Yes the homes and schools are fairly decent, as far as pricing, and quality are concerned. However, beware of the HOA neighborhoods. HOAs here are making huge money from home owners, and are not offering amenities equal to what home owners are paying. What home owners mostly pay for are the HOA's telling you what you can and can't do, and fining you sometimes without notice, for violations you are not aware of. Also, stores and gas stations charge more than customers are being charged the closer you get towards Phoenix, Goodyear, Glendale, and Avondale. DO your due diligence before you decide to move to Buckeye. One more thing. The cold water here is not cold at all during the summer months. In fact, the cold water can be as hot as the actual hot water. I asked Buckeye water department, and the answer I got was that Buckeye is burying the water lines up to code. That may be the case, but it s still not deep enough to make our cold water....cold. There are options Buckeye has to make thing better here, but the city refuses to do any of them.
This is actually the one thing I hate about living in buckeye is there is legit no cold water in the summer. And yes the cold water in fact does get hotter then using the hot water itself
Yeah that can certainly be one of the draw backs of HOAs. Always good to do lots of research and ask questions when considering certain areas or communities for buying a home. 👍
I've lived in many places. Buckeye is one of the best I've lived in. California was OK when I moved there a while back, then with stupid voting for awful leadership, I was compelled to move over here.
Yeah I love the Buckeye area, has so much to offer and love that it feels less busy and like a slower more small town feel! And the mountain views are awesome!
Depends on the type of loan and the size of the home you want to purchase. The best place to start would be to talk with a mortgage lender to learn more about what the current rates are and what credit scores are needed. If you want to get you connected with an awesome local one I have worked with, just let me know! 😊
The crime in Buckeye is generally lower than Phoenix. In both Buckeye and Phoenix it will depend on the area you are in. The most popular areas of Buckeye is Verrado which is very safe and family friendly! Gorgeous homes and neighborhoods, community focused, and great schools!
@LIVING_IN_ARIZONA I don't know about all that for Verrado The crime is starting to rise up much faster than Old Town Buckeye Even their school is having trouble with kids coming to school with weapons
That's incredible, there is so much to love about Buckeye and there is a reason people love it and want to move there 😊 Love seeing all the mountains and farming areas as you drive through Buckeye
Ok, I'm not sure where you're getting your info, but Buckeye is getting WAY too crowded now. The streets weren't planned for the traffic now there. Houses are getting far higher than it used to be. Most of the houses in Buckeye are in HOA's. The schools aren't actually that great if you look at the test scores. It is NOT that laid back anymore, LOTS of city and California's moving there making it loud and more CRIME. We've had murders, drug labs, theft rings, and gangs coming in now. STOP showing/ talking about Verrado acting like it's Buckeye. That's a very small area, more like old palm springs. Buckeye DOESN'T get as much rain as the Phoenix area, so it's much dryer most of the year. There's jobs here, but generally NOT good paying ones. Buckeye smells bad many times because of the farms fertilizer. Snakes are common in the housing tracks, even with pest control. Same with coyotes, can't leave small dogs outside unless you want them eaten.
Yeah sadly there is a shortage of teachers in Arizona which they are trying to work on by hiring more and providing more incentives and programs. While many of the schools there in Buckeye are A rated, sadly this city is affected by shortage at some of the schools like many other cities here. Hopefully they can have some more great teacher hired for that school soon 🤞
Yes but the homes are made out of card board. I own 2 of them. Garbage homes! And truthfully there is a lot of traffic!! And the streets are not engineered for all his traffic.
Yeah depending on the builder the quality of the homes can vary. It's really important to choose a good builder who doesn't;t cut corners. There is an increasing amount of traffic here as Buckeye continues to grow. Thankfully they are adding more highways and expanding the current ones to help keep up with the traffic. What part of the city do you live in?
@@canyonproductions7683 Thankfully the traffic here isn't as bad as places in Cali or the east coast, but ready for the construction to be done for sure 😅
@@LIVING_IN_ARIZONAthe local traffic has gotten worst from downtown buckeye to Watson which is where everything in buckeye is located at takes about 15-20 minutes

My gosh girl, get a parasol!
Haha thanks for the recommendation! You just get used to the sunshine here but I'll make a note to keep an eye for a parasol next time I'm out 😂

I'm remodeling my condo in PHX to sell ASAP! If all goes well I'll have $130K for a down payment on a 4br 3ba home with a $2200 monthly mortgage!
That's awesome! Hope the remodel is going well!

What about wolves?
Wolves and coyotes are pretty rare unless you are living near the mountains and desert at the edges or the city.
Are there any actual buckeyes in Buckeye? 😅

Why is education on there when I didn’t even have teachers at Inca elementary 💀
