About 400 years old
Today we went to Shobhabazar Annapurna Maa Temple.
This ancient historic temple was established by the then Mukherjee family dynasty.
Besides, nothing much is known about the history of this ancient temple.
The antiquity of this temple can be understood by looking at the old, dilapidated, worn out ruins. Still on different occasions like Durga Puja, Annapurna Puja, Durga Ashtami, Mother is worshiped here with fanfare and many devotees gather.
This Jagrat Annapurna Maa temple is worshiped thrice every day Maa Aarti starts at 6 AM and its temple is open from 7 AM to 12 PM and from 6 PM to 9 PM the temple is open for devotees.
