I'm so glad 343 is keeping the spirit of red vs blue like old school fans like me! Only thing really missing is swearing, and obviously the original cast.
This short is phenomenal, a reference to RvB and Halo wars that fits nicely into the machinima style, and the fact it was made by the actual people making halo shows that they CAN be in touch with the community.
There was a pitch and concept art in 2017, but they confirmed in Feb 2021 there were no plans for Halo Wars 3. Obviously that was 3 years ago so things may have changed but I wouldn’t get any hopes up
@@SobBaget602 Ironically enough, I feel that's due to it NOT featuring Chief Every bad writing choice made by 343 can be tracked back to them trying to replicate the magic by 1:1-ing the OGs, rather than keeping only the essence If Halo 5 was JUST Locke, and Chief was some Macguffin (maybe kidnapped, cloned, frozen) like Yakuza 7 did with Kiryu, it would have been better
if you paid attention when it was leaked and then announced that 343 was working on a new title, at the same time Creative Assmbly had a leak saying they are working on a new project for Halo.
I'd love HW 3. Hopefully the story has them coming to Zeta halo and backing up the survivors of the Infinity. Pull a slipspace drive out of a downed frigate or something to replace the one they lost in HW1 and finish on a cliffhanger for Halo 7 to pick up from. Maybe have Chief be a commendable unit in the game and have him work with Red Team

Actually that would be an interesting concept. 50 players on a map with 2 players, 1 per team acting as command for the ground forces. L each directing teams to take objectives and control the map.

The voice of the person saying those lines(Most likely) Is a comms relay personnel relaying orders from each commander to their troops in the field.

I'm happy Halo remembers Halo Wars exists. Maybe one day we will get a HW3. Clearly a big portion of the fan base enjoyed those games.
