Welcome to HIA, Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar -- one of the most advanced, innovative airports in the entire world. It’s also one of the biggest. But what sets this airport apart from all other airports on the planet? It was the only airport designed top to bottom, by an airline itself -- Qatar Airways.

It’s so funny how he ended with not staying long at the pool 🏊♂️… That’s my favorite thing to do there whilst on a long layover at Qatar 🇶🇦 Definitely one of the best airports I’ve been!
Visited doha in the year2018, I am just amazed by this huge airport, such a clean & magnificent modern airport in entire middle east region, truly world class

I love this airport with all my heart ... they will help you no matter who you are.. their customer service of another level... very perfect.. and best of all they have all nationalities ...that means they can give an opportunity to anyone as long as you qualify .....THE BEST AIRPORT I KNOW

Love Hammad International. We missed our flight because of an medical emergency landing in Mumbai but Qatar Airways took care of us and booked us at the new Oryx Garden Hotel. Lovely place. Enjoyed walking around the terminals and window shopping. Only quibble is there is no dedicated bookstore in the airport.

Looks amazingly similar to Oslo Gardermoen, especially the newest terminal building. Very Scandinavian/SAS/Avinor in its aesthetics.

Stopping over at Hamad on one trip for 9 hours was one of my best airport experiences. As of now, I’m waiting to try Changi for the first time in 13 years, so I can compare the 2 best rated airports in the world!
EDIT: Trip was cancelled thanks to COVID
Wish our KLIA1 (not to be mistaken with it's neighbor KLIA2... which is a terminal dedicated to Low Cost Airlines) is as good as them...
But due to corruption and mismanagement.... a lot of expansion and redevelopment plan has been shelf....
Our airport seem a bit dated, today...
