Innovation is taking two or more existing ideas and smashing them together in your head till it makes something new . With maybe a 10% mutation.... like a baby

There are some very very bad changes..... Fukushima!!! But this is a world lesson!!!! My take is to quit building them next to any kinds of connecting bodies of water!!! ie.... oceans, rivers, or lakes..... you want to build a pond?..... ok

    Nice info on innovation, but...
Innovation is not about following some boomer's model for success. The purpose of change and growth is to move away from the older generations. If you really examine his model, it simply promotes more of the same with "incentivized senior executives" leveraging youth. This is the boomer mentality which has run most of the world's nations into debt (for which the youth will pay).
Notice his emphasis on "diversity" and "no one is in control" of future systems:
"Diversity" is a failed trend that will fade away after his generation passes. It doesn't work. It's why the suburbs have been destroyed and people with money are moving back to gentrified city cores. The suburbs failed because of failed policies that "diversified" suburban communities with section 8 housing. That's the result of his little diversity campaigning. Thank you, baby boomers!
"No one is in control" is promotion of socialism/communism. No ONE is in control. Give up your personal control/responsibility of your investment. Become dependent on those venture capitalists who fund your innovative project and the government who regulates it. Good for the banks. Good for the government. Bad for the (one) individual creator.
I can't help but notice there is really very little political "diversity" presented at these Summits. While the talks aren't overtly political, one can notice the socialist undertones in most of the messages.
While there is valuable information here... Question your source. Do better than Larry. Leverage the older generation. Let his mistakes which he cannot/will not realize steer us to a better future. His generation and its failed mentality must go before we progress. Out with the old, in with the new.
