OMG... I love ❤️ Bette Davis....I’m young but have an old soul. I love all her BLACK and WHITE movies 💋❤️ She was one of the Greatest ⭐️!!!!
The best !
Never saw this. Thanks youtube. Still the Greatest in my eyes.
Two Hollywood Titans. RIP dear Olivia de Havilland: class can't be invented for sure.
Tu dis la verite! We may see shadows and sparks today, but we will never see the original supernova again.
Olivia is still alive.
I’m sorry she died in 2020
@@backyardjourneyswithamanda1553 Okay.
In addition to their lifelong friendship and glorious Hollywood careers, Bette and Olivia have something else in common. They both died in Paris. Bette died at the American Hospital in 1989. Olivia lived in Paris for 65 years (!) and died there in 2020.
Bette was a fighter: she never really "mellowed" her amazing spirit carried her until her death
My family like Bette's have French Huguenot ancestry. Actually, she was very fluent in the French language, in earlier interviews. Here, she was a survivor of 4 strokes and still was sharp as a tack! She will always be a legend of one of the greatest actresses on stage and in film. We love you Bette ❤!
Does not matter the language or the accent . That voice and that presence are international. Together they translate into 'star' across all borders and cultures.
Bette so little but a giant in the field of entertainment
So TINY! BUT, A GIANT,TOWERING LEGEND ON THAT SILVER SCREEN! I LOVE HER FOREVER! AND, to see MISS MELLIE (OLIVIA) from GONE WITH THE WIND, is heaven!
I agree!!
My favourite actress of all, Bette played the role, never the fool...no actress has ever came close to her magnificent acting, apart from Elizabeth Taylor (Virginia Wolfe) Bette sadly missed,.
Two wonderful human being...what an honor to see them both !
When U are standing by The Queen of the Screen...U just stand there. ;* She really IS the award!
Glam and gracious to the end.
White people get older world than people of color. She looked like 110 years old. O.o
Years of drinking and smoking didn’t help.
I have always admired the work of La de Havilland but she became rather patronising in her later years.Still , a great lady. Thank you.
2 Greats! Davis and De Haviland ❤
Oh my God the two titans on the same stage. If she only hadn’t smoked. Being a long time smoker, caused much of her health problems later in life.
Exactly, though she still got to 80 or 81
Gloria+Bette+Joan = Hollywood
And Greta!
Legend!!
Je m'en souviens très bien !! Quelle femme !
The greatest actress ever. RIP

THE 4TH WARNER BROTHER
Died: October 6, 1989, American Hospital of Paris, Neuilly-sur-Seine, France.
This is the French Gong Show. It just needed Jerry Lewis to appear screaming - "Hey Laaaaaady"
❤❤❤
It seems like Bette can understand it when they speak French. The poor translator can't get translations in before she starts to speak again, though.
To be fair she was the same when speaking on English TV shows - Bette loved to talk - and we all loved to listen!
She died in Paris that year❤️❤️
Actually Bettie and Olivia were good friends. Bettie and Joan Crawford ! That's a different story for another day!
Olivia de queen Havilland saves the show
The fact is, Davis and de Havilland got into a nasty fight at the after party, with Davis pushing de Havilland into a pool. Davis resented Olivia showing off her proficiency in French. Felt she upstaged her.
Old resentments never die in Hollywood.
What?! Wow.
Absolute lie. Shame on you.
Michael Doyle oh grow up FFS!
Non, no vraiment! Anyway, Bette was and still is the Queen of Hollywood that didn't put up with BS, even to the end! Who cares about her broken French. I'm also have huguenot heritage! Go Bette!
Please, as if Bette and Olivia were near a pool that black-tie evening.
Ужасно. Выглядит на 95. Оливия де Хэвиленд в 100 лет выглядела лучше
Olivia de queen Havilland saves the show
i hardly think so - over the top as always
