My opinion is for ONVO to have contracts with large taxi companies and rental companies like Hertz. Terms of the contracts would they would exclusively buy and use ONVO EVs and ONVO would provide swap stations specifically for their customers. The service cost of the swap stations would be provided by the company. How many Teslas did Hertz company buy from Tesla around 30,000.
Eventually they’ll probably be stations with multiple swap bays for different kinds of cars; just like how gas stations have different octanes of gas and diesel.

Having different batteries is fine. Just make sure the existing swap station can swap batteries for all Nio models . Still waiting on a drive through multi bay swap station which would accommodate all vehicle models and provide higher swap volume. I will take time but it's inevitable that battery swap is the future of the ev market.
Sounds like billions and billions more infrastructure to spend. With all these feature swap stations profitability may take another decade

I think some of the NIO partners will build some of these swap stations, like Geely, Chery, Chang An, petrol companies, power companies and governments could all own some stations. One of the state governments is going to build 1000 swap stations. So this swap station build out might not be all up to NIO.

They need to stop the half a billion US dollars a 1/4 cash burn before they consider any further expansion. Profitability with Nio and Onvo first. Push back the Firefly rollout to 2026. They didn't even meet their swap station goals for 2024.

Rudimentary, yet they swap the batteries in 1/3 the time of nio and are drive through and don't take 1 minute just to back them in.

The government probably needs to set rules on standardized swappable batteries industries.
Nio should just sell their sub brands without battery swap. Too much cash burn, the products are good enough to sell without it
This is a very stupid statement. Nio needs to go for the mass market and swapping is the biggest advantage an EV can have compared to the competition. And besides, Onvo uses the Nio swapping stations that are already in place. The cash burn argument is getting pathetic. They are investing to stay ahead of the competition. I guess you're impatient like most of the investors and just want to make a quick buck.

Nio has been slaughtered….. on the Dow it gets an American response to the Chinese invasion of EV autos…. This is one tough battle…. Nio needs to get profitable and soon…. Stop the madness of losing money…… c’mon…….
Little impatient are we?! Thats why most people will not make a big buck out of investing. Social media made you impatient and makes you want to make a quick buck asap overnight. This is a company that is investing and laying down the foundation in order to create a moat no competitor can fight in order to stay years ahead of the competition. Tesla also traded down for years. Even if you had Tesla back then you would have never reap the benefits of it now by being patient, because you would have sold it off before the big run up.

Oh I have plenty oh patience that’s not the problem. I’m worried that the geo political situation will keep this great company down. It has been truly blooded hard.
