@@harpdee on almost any play with deep routes in football, there will always be a shorter route for the quarterback to throw to, or to "check down" on the field, instead of looking upfield at the deeper routes. Therefore, the play is called the check down, cause there isn't one route for the QB to check down to.

Drewski I got 2MD virtual football and about threw my shoulder out, that game is a blast. You should mess around with play design in that game for another video sometime. The first one has some great college football vibes, and less robots. Feels way harder to me though.
