Stop saying Ja switched his style when 50 dissed him. Ja literally started as a street rapper, and every album he put out had street records on. So for him to respond to 50 with street records was normal to him.
Actually it was def jam’s fault. Blood in my eye was supposed to be a mixtape, but since def jam’s revenue was low they just released it as an album and it flopped. That’s why the album had no singles, only clap back had good production value.
