Hadn't kohli kept him in and out of the team from 2014-19(he played only 6 overseas test in which he has good nos with 2 fifties) showing reasons of his failures in overseas before 2014 when he was a rookie lower order batsman he would have achieved more than are equally like so called fab 4 but politics ruined 5 years of his career when everybody and experts told Rohit should have been made opener when he was opening in shorter formats kohli kept on trying different opening options and everybody failed and only after dada took charge as BCCI chief kohli was forced to make Rohit as opener and then he has been the best player for India in test and one of best overall...Who needs fab 4 when we have unique one called Hitman sharma the modern era 🐐

Rohit was looking good and he was playing some elegant shots .Hitman was handling pace and spin very well during his innings of 37 runs he hit 3 sixes and 1 four but Rohit played a bad shot on lyon's ball and got caught .
Rohit shouldn't have played that short india could have reached 300+ score. But One thing need to be done that play Rohit sharma in all the 4 tests or atleast 3 tests and then analyse his performance ,if he performs continue him otherwise drop him.
He should be given full fledged chance in this series because he such great batsman that he can change the course of the match single handedly if he scores in full flow. This innings by him was mature till he played that ridiculous shot.Hope India does well in restricting Australia and scoring runs in 2nd innings.

bro no one knows importance of that 37 runs in indian innings. Recently Pujara told to media that while india lost all 4 wickets and very hard to get even singles. Then rohit came to bat and told pujara that he is going to attack from the first ball. He did it 3 sixes and 1 four. Now pujara told that 37 runs made indian innings to go forward but india still made only 157 i think.
