I'm glad i put a pause on my second playthrough! (not really by choice, just so many awesome games coming out back to back!) I was one of those people complaining about the character levels carrying over! So you are telling me there is NEW WORLD BOSSES, A HARDER MODE, AND I can now choose to not be insanely OP on my next playthrough? Damn.. Gonna have to squeeze in my second playthrough sometime before the SMTV Vengeance, Elden Ring DLC, and FFXIV Dawntrail gauntlet begins!

I already beat the game months ago on Claude's route and was about to start Rena's path until we started to get a whole bunch of games coming but I am so happy that we're getting or did get a free update that adds so much more contant and I'm happy that you can actually view any endings that you've unlocked in specific runs. I was confused as to why you couldn't view any of the endings that you got previously but I guess it's now a moot point because now we can actually see the endings whenever we want. I have even more of a reason to want to go back to second story R even though I was already planning on doing that anyway so yeah this news is great though a friend told me this yesterday but still very hyped. Great job Alex and Secord Story R is easily an S tier game!
I purchased the game during the past holiday season but still haven’t gotten into my first play through as I’ve been completing some other games including Star Ocean First Departure R. It is great to see that this game is continuing to get support despite it being a single player experience.
I am sad that there are no new items like Re-Creation Gem in the Goodie Boxes but aside from that; I am absolutely in love with the new updates of Star Ocean

Longtime fan of the game, it was my first PS1 game. Looking forward to Chaos mode and the new items. Love everything R added so far with the exception of EXP share. It makes stat manipulation a nightmare.

I just beat all the new raid bosses gonna add factors to my new items then chaos mode new playthrough this is one of my favorite games ever.

I have got my platinums on both ps4 and ps5 and for me the biggest challenge was the bloody cooking minigame lol. Loved this title since I was a kid ❤

This couldnt be better timing. I'm currently playing through this game for my first time ever and am about midway through the story. Loving it so far but I gotta balancey time with it, rise of Ronin, and infinite wealth. After all of that I'll be able to go back to FF16 for it's dlc and then play rebirth finally. Lol
still playing SO2. been a fan of the game since ps one version and the psp version.
Second Story R ppbbly went under the Radar for a lot of people.
I still have my second playthrough in Front of me and its a really Well polished, fun title. Its also rather short to 100% so its even a good Game for people who dont want to Invest hundreds of hours Into a Game.
Can fully recommend.

Like seriously, I don't care if they have to reduce the native resolution down to 480p to do so, but I WANT 60FPS!! I may have to just sell my Switch copy & try to find a PS4 copy otherwise.

Can they update the in game character models? The sprites are ugly.
That would necessitate a huge change in the game, so I don't think this is even possible

None of these features concern me, but nice features for people that want them. I play everything on the easiest setting and once I'm done with a game I move on forever. But thanks for reminding me I never finished it.

So, I've tried for days to beat Gabriel and just cannot do it. I'm like lv 130 something, decent equipment and resists n crap but nope. Just cannot do it.
I'm kinda frustrated and done with the game at this point and it sucks because I LOVE a lot about it... but that final boss fight just ain't it. And the problem is I don't have the time as an adult to just waste my time failing over and over and over and OVER again.
I can't really find much out there except grinding and/or praying to the RNG gods like I'm sorry what? That is grade A bullcrap right there.
