Hard to say without seeing your level or what you should work on. YZs are fast but they have a shorter powerband. So make sure your shifting is dialed and you are always in the meat of the power. Then work on corners, trying to be smooth and carry momentum.
Really the best thing you can do is make friends with kids just a little faster than you and ride with them as much as you can.
