A lot of people didn’t know Ray Allen was a high flyer. That’s why Bucks and Sonics Ray Allen was my fav version of him.
Nah Celtics was better
Naw Lincoln Jesus Shuttlesworth
I only knew that because of the old nba live games his dunk rating was like a 95
Word
Ray used to posterize em! Bucks Ray was a problem.
He was one the best slashers we had ever seen and then evolved into one of the greatest shooters we had ever seen. And had a damn good movie. Ray Allen did alright for himself.
🧢🧢🧢😂
“ONE OF THE BEST SLASHERS” is crazy ☠️
@Crocs I’m a Ray fan but he wasn’t one of the best slashers ever, a good one yes but EVER? NO.. THIS IS CRAZY dick riding.
This is true. Don’t know what these other two dudes are taking about. If you’re under 35, you don’t even remember how good he was at attacking the rim.
He always was a great shooter since UConn.
You meant mid range not slasher
A better athlete than most remember.
Athleticism off the charts
Ray Allen was the total package (on offense) when he was in his prime. It grinds my gears when fans act like he was just a spot up shooter.
Those are new era fans. They don't know any better. They just saw him play those last few years in Miami.
Ray Allen hit so many clutch shots in the playoffs, it is just amazing, he is never rattled and always ready
@ThreeCreators facts
He's extremely ocd so everything is a routine for him it helped him become the greatest shooter ever in his prime.
Best thing about these highlights no palming, carrying, or gather step and he was blowing by dudes. Then when he gets hit he doesn't lay on the floor holding his head or anything.
Ray wouldve been a bigger scorer in today’s nba. Legend could do it all and looks so smooth doing it
One of the most underrated players ever. Made clutch moments even up till he retired
I wonder who dare to underrated him 🤣 everyone who watchs NBA knows how clutch and threaten he is.
@@minhphucnguyen5961 how often when you here best shooting gaurds someone says ray allen in top 5....
Hey kids out there, if you want to not suck... study this dudes form and rhythm. Dude put on a clinic almost every game. Legend.
One of the most beautiful shots ever for sure…. But I wouldn’t want a kid to try and copy it… I think his shot almost can’t be reproduced. I think it takes someone with almost superhuman wrist and hand strength plus incredible vertical explosion to shoot like ray did. Honestly I’d rather have a kid try and copy Curry’s shooting form. But I know what you’re trying to say. I’m just saying if you don’t have physical attributes like Ray and you try and shoot like him… it’s gonna be brick city all day lol
@@gmoney8399 He had great lift on his shot and perfect form. He could palm the ball, so almost impossible to copy his form.
Ray Allen is one of the best NBA Players of All Time
Ray Allen was actually one of the best sharpshooter style players in the NBA history..but what they didn't show was how he was damn near perfect career free throw .pct%
One of the greatest 3 point shooters of all time
Came into the league a Slasher
Couldn't agree more... assuming of course that by "one of" you mean "undisputed all-time". #GOAT #clutch3
Legend. It's crazy how he was the best shooter for years before Curry came yet some could argue he was less known and appreciated
It's crazy coz he did every thing else too.
Coz he didn't depend only on 3 pt shots early in his career.
Ray Allen was a scorer before he focused on being a 3 point shooter..he avg 25 ppg those 5 his prime yrs for the sonics
Nailed it boss. Had he wouldve primarily focused his game on 3s like curry hed have wayyyyy more all time 3 pointers made on his list
@@ImperialDecree Yeah but I don't think Curry would have those stats in Allen's era he played a little bit in the softer NBA.
@@asterphoenix3074 true, but nobody asked or brought that up
Great mix. Love the high-quality highlights. Keep up the great work. 3 Pointer, Swish!
damn i didn't know allen could dunk like that. dude was a vicious dunker.
Oh yeah! Had handles and all. I was a fan from his UConn days. He was built like a racehorse
He had to in a vicious physical league especially if they wanted to play in the paint.
question everybody always compares Kobes style to MJ which seems like a style he didnt quite master but Ray Allen's game is more similar to MJ then Kobe "handsdown"! he actually mastered the "one hand palm crybaby" style he islight like wind out there just like Jordan and can do every mans job but good. one man show!
@@lovehildagreyYes indeed. Trying not to be the one man show was extremely hard for MJ. Analyst and experts never thought he would get past the playoffs because he didn’t trust his team mates. That’s the reason why the organisation hired Phil Jackson.
He got game
I grew recognizing Ray as a 3point guy. I never knew he use to catch bodies like this, WOW!
THAT was the most Beautiful shot that I've seen in the NBA of all time. that shot that tied the game 6 that everyone thought that was over and they had those yellow line and all of that and the balloons are ready. even in this day I was still amazed by it.
It still gives me the chills to this day
Ray Allen was so tuff man
Saw him play in Seattle many times miss Allen and the Sonics
My favorite player of all time!!!!!
Man Ray Allen was my favorite player to watch growing up
For me, Ray Allen is top 10 funnest smooth players to ever watch
Dude is a 6 foot 5 curry with athleticism
I wish Minnesota never traded Allen for Marbury on draft day and kept him because I could have seen Allen being the 2nd star in Minnesota with Kevin Garnett for long term. I don't think he minds playing for a small market teams. KG and Allen in their prime would have been exciting and had they brought a pg like Jason Kidd to run the show they would have won some championships. But Minnesota being Minnesota couldn't build anything bc their front office is so inept.
Please check out my new Ray Allen Mix🔥
Or Marbury had stayed. Shame we only got a glimpse of what that Minnesota team could’ve been. KG and Marbury had something special.
Ray Allen, Sam Cassell and Garnett could beat Shaq and Kobe in that WCF they got into
Didnt know he could dunk like that
He was a dunker before focusing on shooting that much
@@duwopguwap4176 don't tell lies, he was just good at everything but especially shooting the deep ball ever since his uconn days. i think ray, as good as he was, lacked that top tier level of explosiveness that would have taken him to a higher level.... but! since ray was a great shooter it didn't matter and that is what took him to a higher level. but if ray didn't have that shot it is possible that he could have developed that explosiveness leaning more on his athletic abilities.
That's what is most frustrating about how he is talked about as just a shooter these days, he was a supreme athlete and complete offensive player. Kept himself in tremendous shape.
In my opinion he is still the best in terms of Basics in shooting. Stephen Curry's form is unorthodox and you cannot teach that to a kid. But watching Ray is academic and insightful. So in my opinion Uncle Ray is the best from downtown in NBA history
nope curry best shooter of all time cry
Damn didn't know ray allen was vicious like that in his younger days holy shit!
Great mix
that corner is his sweet spot
Underrated superstar & he saved LeBron’s legacy with that 3
There is nothin to compare about Ray Allen and other PG-SG nowaday.
He was a beast with his strengh, toughness, athletic and accuracy. His combos dominated all the NBA’s defense back in the day. Dont forget NBA was still solid AF during his prime.
After that, when he get older n smarter, he became the best shooter in decades. Simply the best guard and scorer we ever had. 1 Ray = Wbrick + Curry + Lilard 💪
These guards nowaday are soft, like a baby.
Has anyone changed their game more than Ray Allen
Fr!!
@@momoneymopoetry845 Brook Lopez maybe

Serge Ibaka

I'm here after Steph broke his record but I still prefer Ray as my favorite player 🔥🏀
People forget how athletic Ray Ray was
Clutch as hell
And people out here trying to compare Klay to Ray 😂 sad as hell people only look at his career like it started in Boston. Dude was different on the Bucks and Sonics.
Its the fucking new generation(Most) saying that dumb shit.
Fr
I forgot how nice Ray Allen was
My favorite player
now i know he can be a beast
88ovr pg playmaking shot creator 2k20, this guy has the best catch and release !
Ray was time rocker in Bucks day, but MJ stood in the way of a lot good teams in the East. Sonic's he was more of a shooter then. But was one my favorite.
I'm pretty sure at 2:08 that was the last game of the year, where he broke the single season record for 3s in a season. He need 5 or 6 I think. Went off for 8 and came through in the clutch in the process.
Tier 2 nba 2k20 SG this is my guy
Please check out my new Ray Allen Mix🔥
Yes, youngsters, Ray Allen used to get up
No one ever questioned this
@@Grazza1129 i only knew ray allen when he was in celtics and i thought he was unathletic lol didnt know he could dunk like that
@@emperor9033 well than your take was way off cause unathletic people can’t move and shoot like that no one unathletic I’ve met or seen before
just wow.
People know ray allen.. but they don’t know Jesus shuttlesworth. The best slasher turned marksman
I kind of miss those old purple and green bucks uniforms
Ray Allen reminded me of Giannis with his bucks highlights
Man Ray Allen have somebodies
Damnnn I only knew old man ray allen
The best jumpshot form in the history of the NBA
And people think Curry and Klay are reinventing the game!
Ray Allen didn’t have to cook the dude like that lol 4:30 😂
Even though alot of people loves stephen curry,I still enjoy the clips back in the day rn,it feels to me like the nba is so boring,I still enjoy it but it's not as much as in 2011
probably because everyone goes for 3s nowadays
Look at my boy Jesus Shuttlesworth!

first jump, then aim, that's how ray allen shoots.
Nah Foreal Ray Allen Wuz Supa Clutch From The Three Point Line.
I like how the top 4 were all and-1s that weren't called.
Is it crazy to put allen top 20 or 30 of all time
No not crazy at all this dude was Curry before Curry was even around
Prettiest J ever

2k xbox voice...ray. allen.
I had no idea he was THAT kind of slasher. Just thought he was a shooter
I met him
Steph is the greatest shooter of all time. But Ray is the clutchest!
The audacity of kids these days comparing him to Klay Thompson 🤦🏻♂️
Facts. There's a poll on CZcams where some "kids" even have the audacity to say that Klay is better than Ray-Ray.
Players like Klay and Steph are extremely talented but lack the soul that someone like Ray has. Ray is a military child of 5 children while Steph and Klay grew up rich kids with NBA dads in bball camps essentially
Him saying he the best shooter all time is like damn this is pre curry eruption
Hes more clutch than curry
Steph Curry
Ray Allen
Klay Thompson
In one team
Huh
Luke 12:22
And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
Reggie Miller would have probably got a championship if he had Ray Allen
So basically if he had real help sooner he would have won at least 1 ring before Boston
He had plenty of help at Milwaukee with Terrell Brandon and Glenn Robinson, then Joe Smith who was a pretty darn good pf back then. The bucks were always one of the top two or three, at worst 4th, in the east during late 90s and early 2000s
@@8301TheJMan that’s not enough help are you serious? The late 90s was ran by Chicago and the early 2000s was ran by the Lakers.. do I need to continue
@@dntbill914 That's true for the Lakers maybe, but not the Bulls in the late 90's. The Bulls were actually not that much deeper though than the Bucks back then. They had an aging Jordan and Pippen, who weren't that much better than Big Dog and Allen, and then Kukoc, Longly, and Harper, (who was a shadow of his former self when he was with the Clippers in the early 90's and even less so when compared to the player he was with the Cavs). I take your point though about not having enough to win it all in the late 90's, but they eventually certainly did a couple years later, (or at the very least were damn close). After all, in 2001 they finished 1st in the Central Division and got all the way to the Eastern Conference finals and lost in 7 games to the Sixers. That year aside for Robinson and Allen, they also had Tim Thomas, (who was absolutely unstoppable with enormous potential and was limited only by his poor work ethic, lack of consistent assertiveness, and of course the fact he was playing third fiddle to G-Rob and Ray Allen), Sam Cassell who was playing at All-Star level and scored nearly 20 ppg that year, and Lindsey Hunter who was putting up double figures off the bench. Then in 2002 they added even more pieces, (Anthony Mason and Michael Redd), and had plenty of talent to at least get to the championship series that year if it wasn't both both Robinson and Allen going down to injuries and with each missing nearly a quarter of the season, which kept them outa the playoff for the first time in a few years.
@@8301TheJMan I respect all this and your knowledge ‼️💯 but regardless of what age anyone was on the Bulls, they ran the entire 90s when MJ played. That’s all they needed. When he went to baseball they couldn’t win. The first year he came back right before the playoffs they didn’t make it happen but we all know why and they 3 peat after that.. if the team didn’t get dismantled by management, they would’ve walked out of the 90s as champions for 98-99 season and possibly the 99-2000 season. They were that good.. and even if The bucks made it a finals in the early 2000s they wasn’t beating the lakers bro. We all know this. That team was too deep and too talented. All Championships teams have that one X factor and for the lakers it was Shaq. Shaq going down would be the only chance anyone wouldn’t beat them at THAT time. After he got a little older and out of shape then that was a different story until he went to Miami and had something back. I respect that Bucks team but that was never a championship team in my opinion. I don’t think any team with Ray Allen as the face could’ve won and that’s jus me knowing basketball. He needed to be that second/3rd option respectfully 💯 nothing against him.
