Azucena looks hella strong , she really shows how solid she is as a new character in Tekken 8, I played with her in the last Cnt and I can say that she is a perfectly balanced character, there is nothing to add or take away from her, I hope that more Pros like Arslan and Anakin follow her using her as they have been doing her, for my part Azucena is already my favorite character for all of 2024.

One thing I did take notice of is that there is very little use of Steve's new strings (specifically his mid checks from stances), and he still remains one of the safest characters in the game so seeing him get ch as much as he did in the video tells me there's some unfamiliarity with playing Steve. Looking forward to seeing more of what Steve can do 👍🏾

😅😅 Steve got cakewalked by Azucena. The Tekken 8 powercreep is unreal. Its only getting worse once DLC 8 drops. Ppl asked me why I think Steve didn't deserve these nerfs. This why. Once the character whose identity is punching and ch punching alone is getting launched from punches by characters who have plenty of other things like throw mix damage easy launchers great strings and wall carry then Steve becomes pretty obsolete and hard on top of that. Heera said it best this T8 Steve is useless right now
You’re bugging😂, this dude in the video is clearly unfamiliar with Steve and pressing all over the place with no frames and whiffing almost everything. Steve is at his best in this game imo just off of his new stance alone, which didn’t get utilized at all in this vid lol
I would like to see Azucena vs Yoshimitzu. I love that last one. I used it in Tekken since it made me win but I also adore Azucena more than anything as she is a person from my country. greetings

watching matches like this just pisses me off. You know steve inputs are highly technical and hard to pull of but the damage is minimal. Then you got azucena with easier strings that just demolishes your lifebar. I think at some point the tekken devs need to reward these characters that are hard to use instead of handicapping them.
Steve gets rewarded by having the fastest, lowest commitment ch launcher in the game which gives him a 72 damage combo without the wall which is far from minimal
@@grantgarbour disagree, at the end of the day that's about the only effective launcher he has and it still needs to be timed perfectly. And to get that high damage after that are difficult strings and execution unlike many characters in this game and you do actually need the wall, even his machine gun punches is extremely difficult to pull off. Rewatch this video carefully and you will see what i'm talking about. See how many times he connected with his launcher and the damage output he was able to pull off, compared to azucena low kick high punches strings that absolutely demolishes his health. The moves that steve was pulling off are extremely difficult and to me and character like that needs to be rewarded with better damage output and he deserves absolutely zero nerf, (his down forward 2 has already been nerfed in this game for some reason). It's already a given a character like azucena will dominate tournaments, can't say the same about a guy like steve as usual.
Steve's gatling gun combo has been buffed in that it's much easier to do than it was in Tekken 7. And to be quite honest, the combos from Steve in this video do not seem nearly as difficult to pull off especially if you're a Steve loyalist/main. There were some dropped combos from Steve where he could have made it simple, but what's very noticeable is the unfamiliarity in how they play the character.
@@kbthegoat824 Machine gun punches are now easily executed by repeating 1+2. Steve has a new stance for powerful mixups. I wouldn't worry, at least not until release and we get to see his potential.
Na minha opinião, a Azucena é a pior personagem desse jogo até agora. Voz irritante, golpes nada a ver, dancinhas, design terrível e motivação pior ainda. Tem que ter muito mal gosto para gostar dessa personagem. Pior que Lucky Chloe em T7.
