Had a hard time getting this welder started and maintaining the spark with 6011 3\32" rods

Try plugging the rod holder cable on the negative side for 6011 rod. Dong use anything thicker than 3/32. This is a 90 amp welder @ 120v and 130 amps @220 v

Lots of rod sticking on 120V unless cranked up to max amperage. .

So what are the best rods for this welder? I’m having trouble with E6010

I tried 6013, 7014 and 6011. All in 3/32 . For 6011 rod holder plugged to negative side.

Are you in 220v or 120V?

I run it on a gfci plug and it trips if over 100 but runs wells below
