  • I have had some students who change their programs and school just because they are not aware of this, I felt sad because they have realized this after starting the program, paying the tuition, and worst completing the program that they will have to eventually go back to their home country. This video will serve as a reminder and awareness for those students who are the main goal is to immigrate after graduating in Canada.

    II would like to add that there are private colleges which you should avoid, they may be accredited however being an actual student at one of these colleges i can confirm that their quality is garbage and and their price is 4 times as much as a public school. in addition to this there was no support for international students. the three i would avoid are:
    Stenberg college
    VCC (Vancouver CAREER college, not Vancouver Community College)
    Discovery Community College.
    all three of these schools have had lawsuits brought against them. at the end of the day, go for a public school. private education in Canada is usually garbage.

    Did you had a formal education as a coach? How will the students know your competencies in coaching student pathways?

    • @studyliveexploreca
      @studyliveexploreca  Pƙed 3 lety +8

      Hello Jo, my coaching is a mentorship based approach - based on personal and work experience, so most of the viewers relate to me as I came here as international student myself, who also applied for residency, and mostly tackle career and programs since those are the struggles I have had, so sharing some experience here working with students to promote awareness, and so I am not sure with my competencies, because my industry is not regulated, but here is the reason why Canadian schools trusted me even without a gazillion certifications, its because of my personal experience as a international student. :) Sometimes you learn not by reading books or getting certifications, you learn through experience and talking to people. Your certifications won’t matter at all - if you can’t get results to your students! :) so you have the choice, you either go to a coach with multiple and expensive certifications not even living in Canada, or do you trust someone who is here in Canada who went to the same journey, experience the same challenges, and went the same path you’d like to pursue, choice is urs! :)

I would also advise to take a Montessori certificate corse because montessori schools pay more. But you can do this afetr you have graduated, registered and working.

    Hello , i was looking through game design programs in Canada, i heard about think tank training center from a lot of reliable sources, it's a private colleges and is offering a 64 weeks that ie almost 15 months deploma for computer graphics and game development but they are not eligible for PGWP even tho it's a designated learning institute. It's actually my dream college and is located in North Vancouver. I'm in a little bit of confusion if i should go over to Canada or not for this program

    Hi Miss MC, if it's between Crandall University taking up masters of management vs NBCC(business management) - which would be best? Ideally prefer to take masters of management but I loose the opportunity to apply for international graduate Atlantic immigration pilot program. Is the IG-AIPP really a sure thing that it's a must to study in government funded learning institutions?

    • @studyliveexploreca
      @studyliveexploreca  Pƙed 3 lety +1

      Hello Mike - yes, if you want to apply thru AIPP - Intl Grad you need to grad from a Atlantic public school - it is says on the IRCC website, NBCC and Crandall will qualify for that, struggle with Crandall is the high GPA requirement. Hence, if you ara matured student - then Masters would be a great option for you!
