    ABOUT LORD PATTEN:
    Lord Patten is the Chancellor of Oxford University and the Chairman of the BBC Trust. A former politician, he was Secretary of State for the Environment under Margaret Thatcher and, in 1990, became the Chairman of the Conservative Party. He is often credited with securing the surprise Conservative victory in the 1992 General Election. As the last British Governor of Hong Kong, he oversaw its handover to China in 1997 and served as one of Britain's two representatives to the European Commission from 2000 to 2004.

    Although I was born during the British occupation of Hong Kong, I do not consider myself British or Hongkongese. because I will always be Chinese. Understand!
    Also, Hongkongese isn't a Nationality. Hong Kong Citizen? Of course not. I am a Chinese Citizen of Hong Kong Temporary Resident. My true home is in China.
