Not a farmer, but the GB farmers need Clarkson as a champion of their "way of life". Yes, he's wealthy and perhaps initially has been seen as playing a farmer, but he has helped expose the layers of gov'mental and local beurocracy which is beyond belief. If anyone thinks that rewilding perfectly good agricultural land, putting solar panels on and stopping producing food is a good idea then they should move to Chyna.

Sexy isn’t quite the word I would use to describe Clarkson. But he does have a masculine demeanour. Successful, witty sense of humour, not vain and focusing on a masculine lifestyle. Farming is not for the faint hearted.

Clarkson has always shared his personal opinion, regardless of who his percieved bosses are (sometimes without the full information, but hey) IMO that is admirable in this day and age... I think that "Woke" people have lost their sarcasm radar and take Clarkson too literaly at times.
He comes from a diffrent era, and reminds me of a Monty Python sketch, whilst also having deep feelings about what is currently going on in the world.
Maybe because he is what he is and he doesn't hide behind a smarmy crowd pleasing exterior that could be toppled at some stage, like many other celebrities who have fallen by the wayside
